Since the people of Gibraltar voted by 95% to remain in the EU, much like Scotland and N. Ireland, they too now can hold a referendum to leave the UK and become part of Spain. What is England going to do, go to war with Gibraltar to stop them? Hardly.

Yes, but isn't Gibraltar supposed to be a bit of dear old England?

Answer = NO!

It hasn't all happened in the first 24 hours? That's OK then. Everything is fine and hunky dory in little England.

Yes it is, until they got royally fcuked by dear old England.

I think with the outcome of Brexit, it's going to be every man is for himself and will do what is needed to get the best possible deal for himself rather keeping their wagon hitched to England no matter what.

Miltiades:
Robin, its only 24 hours since the Brexit won the referendum. Are you really suggesting that the fact that in 24 hours we have not seen any negative signs developing is translated into a positive decision made entirely by the older working class generation.

No, I am not saying that! What I am saying is that the panic was ALL in the financial systems and globally, which shows just how hollow, shallow and out of touch with reality it is. If you ignore their panic reaction then nothing has changed nor will it in the coming months except at a measured pace over a period of time. (When approaching traffic lights you can take your foot off the accelerator, maybe drop a gear and use the brakes for the last 10m or so. OR ..... you can approach at breakneck speed and hit the servo-assisted brakes at the very last moment.)

Milti, you are now one of ‘us’ and must realise that with age comes a lifetime of acquired knowledge. Anybody under 40 has never lived in a non-EU environment ........ they have no other experience than an EU system. Today .... life stops when they can’t get a signal on their mobile ..... I lived in the day when only the well off had telephones .... the rest of us used public telephone boxes!
This has been a disastrous day not only for Europe , the UK but the entire world.

I see it as a new beginning based on wealth creation rather than money making. An opportunity to shorten the unemployment queues, create jobs and manufacture goods that all can buy, as most will be working. It depends who we get to run the show? Boris .... I think not, same with Farage ...... I hate to upset most of the members but the only character I can see with those qualities is ..... another Putin type personality!
We will all be affected by this monstrous decision, soon the UK will be no more, Scotland will have its referendum sooner rather than later and exit the union. Northern Ireland might soon follow and join the Republic of Ireland
.
You are panicking! Yes, I think N. Ireland should have a referendum to join EIRE; same with Scotland, if they want to leave fine, it’s their choice. Just like I supported the Crimean’s right to their referendum to revert to being annexed into the Russian Federation, or the Syrians right to chose their own leader and not have a leader forced upon them by foreigners.
The naïve Brits fell for the ludicrous slogans of the likes of Farage and the Clown Boris. Slogans such as the 350 million a week that our NH will benefit by exiting Europe, later withdrawn, yesterday after the results, by Farage.

You could be right ............ I have found that many people lack the ability to analyse what they read/watch and form their own conclusion, they can be (and are) lead by those that control what they see and read.
The shockwaves with severe repercussions for our economy will continue for years to come, the Eastern European immigrants will continue to arrive in the UK and so will the third world immigrants that were not mentioned once during the campaign.

Legal immigration will continue as it has for generations but now we will be able to accept those we feel will benefit our economy and stop/return those that don’t.
Most that I spoke too had not the slightest idea of the consequences to develop following the disastrous result, all seemed to mention the same crap fed to them by Clown Boris and co., control of our own laws, what bullocks, regain our sovereignty. more bullocks, lets get control back to the UK etc etc . The working class fell for it, the older generation decided the future of the young generation.

You could of course also say “......all seemed to mention the same crap fed to them by Cameron, George and Co.” .... depends what paper you read or which TV Station you watch. The older generation have the life acquired knowledge and the time to come to a reasoned conclusion ..... the young are too wrapped up on their very shallow celebrity driven life style or the self opinion that because they have a Degree in some obscure subject ..... they know more and are smarter than us old fogies!
The UK will break up within a couple of years, our economy will suffer immensely. We have seen sterling tumble yesterday only to recover slightly after the intervention of the BoE. The Clown Boris will become the PM of a sick nation, now he is telling the Brits that our exit will not be imminent, not according to the EU. Britain will not be given any special treatment, on the contrary the Europeans want Britain's exit as soon as possible. I have already felt the adverse affects of the much lower STG since 90% of my imports come from Europe.

You see ...... the threat is not the decision to leave the club but the recriminations that will come BECAUSE we made that decision. We have pissed off the EU Leadership who, just like the financial moguls and political elite. are beginning to see that the people have had ENOUGH! But we are just the first .... others will follow and I think will form their own non-political trading partnerships.
The Moody credit agency has already downgraded Britain's rating to that of Negative.

Moody fiddles the figures to suit its clients! That is how it triggered the sub-prime fiasco! :x
Well at least we will not be seeing adverts on our underground stations featuring women in ....bikinis. Anti Islamic they say !!!

Maybe soon ..... you won’t be able to eat pork or drink alcohol, or wear fashionable clothes and your wife will be whipped for not walking at least four paces behind you. I’d rather see bikini clad young ladies on adverts (or in the flesh) than a pair of eyes watching me from inside a bin-bag!!!!!

Let them have a referendum to join Spain .... its seems to be the game of the day! I would predict that in THAT case they would vote to remain part of the UK. Spain can put up all the barriers it wants ..... and an awful lot of Spaniards will lose their jobs and Spanish suppliers, their market. :?

I didn't say that! Read my reply to Milti on the subject.

You obviously don't have much time for the UK but we have been through greater turmoil and survived it, and they will do this time and from their decision we will see a breakup of this political monster called the European Union (Federal State of Europe), the collapse of the Euro (a failure anyway you look at it) and out of it will come a stronger union of independent trading nations, not only in Europe but World wide. :|

The key is restructuring the banking/financial systems to serve the people rather than the other way round!

I have a great deal of affection for the UK, sir, and that's why it breaks my heart to see it being put on the path to break up and oblivion by a victory engineered the far right who, I believe, actually have no clue at all as to where to go next.

A couple of days before the referendum we placed two orders for goods, one order from Greece for a Chicken Rotisserie and one from Italy for Extraction Hoods, combined total Euros 7176. The cost in STG would have been at 7176 divide into 1.285 = £ 5579.97 , we are about to pay this amount now but at a considerable loss having now to dish out £ 5930.58 representing a loss of £350.61 !!

Yes Im ....over the moon that we have now taken ....control of our country, stemmed immigration from Europe and regained our ....sovereignty!

You have consistently displayed your utter stupidity and the emptiness of your brain, judging by the comments you made on the murder of Jo Cox. Listen plonker, I do not bring your family into it, now fuck off you little shit and dont you dare try to take me on. Little shits like you I flash down the toilet. Get Plonker !!
