I’ll explain it to you in another way…

You intentionally or unintentionally left a critical error in your sentence and it was up to me (the reader) to DEAL WITH IT in whichever way I normally use and although you’ll find many people will compensate with a similar word (which can be a double-edged sword) my usual choice of dealing with something like this is to SKIP/REMOVE the vague section and that’s exactly what I did.

Here’s exactly what I read:

“…the bet is that remain have to win by more than 60% for you to win. 60% or less, and I win.”

So I agreed with the deal! :)

You talk a load of ...sheet !!! Now does your brain comprehend the word sheet or shall I use shit!
This is what the bet was. " Lets say the bet is that remain have to win by more than 60% for you to win. 60% or less, OR THEY LOOSE, and I win. "
Or they loose or lose same fucking difference you cheapskate. Dont bet again if you cant afford to ...loose !

Even if you edit the deal as it was written you are STILL welching on the bet.

Can you see any AND between "remain have to win by" and the "60% or less, and I win" ? Can you see the full stop between these.

FULL STOP 60% or less, and I win.

they got less than 60%. I win. You are breaking even the re written deal you claim to agree with. I for one will never trust your word again.

I was led to believe that “remain have to win” applied to BOTH of us in which case a win starts from 50.1% and goes all the way up to 100%.

I had no idea you saw fit to “secure” special privileges if the vote went the other way… I guess once an Ottoman always an Ottoman!

It appears that Oracle was right about you… you *are* a crafty Ottoman devil that others should watch out from.

Pity...

Yeah you were led to believe that by me saying

"Lets say the bet is that remain have to win by more than 60% for you to win. 60% or less, or they loose, and I win."

The condition for you to win is clear. The condition for me to win is clear. I won. That is clear. You are a welcher. That is clear.

It is indeed a pity. What was, on my part at least, a bit of fun, has left nothing but a nasty taste in my mouth and led to you to resort to ethnic based slurs to try and justify your own behaviour. Such a pity.

Just spotted this. For sure!

He has a particular style which on later examination, I believe follows this pattern.

He logs in and silently stalks debates.
He takes his time and lets discussions brew, ebb, flow, follow a natural path until the posters relax into shortening explanations because of what is understood mutually by what has been said before.
He then pounces on a phrase or point.
He spins a brutalized thesis round this phrase/point and interlaces it with a character assassination.
If you dare to take the bait and try to explain ...... well, let's just say, you're in it for the lo:::::::::::ong shot!

Good luck. :D

you seem to be very familiar with this tactic my dear.

aaaaaaaaaanyway back to the subject matter. it seems we shall have a new prime minister by october and perhaps even a general election before the year is out, so it seesm we shall get a second chance where even the thick swine who voted no becasue they hated the government rather then the eu will get one last chance to repent for their indiscretion.

What a greedy cheat… the more I think about it the more I get annoyed by his cowardice! :?

It turns out that *you* are the one that didn’t have the balls to put your money where your mouth was (50–60%) despite the generous bracket I gave you but wanted additional Ottoman assurances so that you have next to zero risk!

You bloody coward… but greed got the better of you!

You were probably drooling so bad while typing at the thought of “super odds” that you couldn’t put a sentence together without it looking like it was written by a 12 year old!
