I’ll explain it to you in another way…
You intentionally or unintentionally left a critical error in your sentence and it was up to me (the reader) to DEAL WITH IT in whichever way I normally use and although you’ll find many people will compensate with a similar word (which can be a double-edged sword) my usual choice of dealing with something like this is to SKIP/REMOVE the vague section and that’s exactly what I did.
Here’s exactly what I read:
“…the bet is that remain have to win by more than 60% for you to win. 60% or less, and I win.”
So I agreed with the deal!
