Local area results will come in throughout the night / morning of thursday / friday. We should know early Friday morning if things go according to plan. Both major UK TV channels (BBC and ITV) will have 'live' coverage as local results come in. There will also no doubt also be worldwide media coverage.

It is going to be close but I put my vote on remain and if I were forced to put money on it it would also be on remain (which has always been the bookies favourite btw)

bookies dont set the odds. They adjust them to cover make sure both sides of their book are covered. The leave camp may have more money backing their bets.

The Zionists wouldn't allow a Brexit, kuz.

The polling stations have been open for over an hour now. Any impressions from those of you currently in the UK as to how events are unfolding there will be welcomed by somebody like myself who is following this event from a distance here in Cyprus. I am especially curious as to whether the turnout appears to be high and whether a lot of young people are voting. This could well be the decisive factor as polls show that younger people are more pro-EU but less likely to vote. There was some talk of bad weather affecting the turn out - hard to get my head around here where we are experiencing a bit of a heat wave.

Watching BBC News channel on a spare laptop in my office in Limassol and there has been no comment so far regarding turnout, but there is travel chaos due to flooding.
