So you went to Turkey twice and now you want to visit your partner in occupied Cyprus? Is your partner a Turkish Settler by any chance?

thank you all so much for your feedback!

In case you are wondering why,
i went and booked my tickets and yes the cheaper option was to fly into Ercan (little did i know the problems)
I have been to Turkey twice by myself and it has been wonderful!

I am staying with my partner in the north side of Cyprus, so it wouldn't be like i would be travelling to the south side of cyprus occasionally.
But i did think.. it something happened and i needed to get back to Australia and i came through the illegal side of cyprus that would be an issue, right?

If i was to change my flights then to fly into Larnaca, what would be the easiest route to get to the north border crossing??
Thank you all!

there is really no need to change your flights. landing in ercan and crossing the border south is not an issue what so ever. the greak cypriots are not really as developed as they pretend. it will cost you an arm and a leg to go to larnaca airport from the north when ercan is so convenient. ledra street crossing is probably most convenient but there are no buses to the airport. you have to catch a city bus and end up in the middle of larnaca and catch a cab to the airport or catch a cab from south lefkosha to the airport which will cost you an arm and a leg and half of another arm too. don listen to the embittered trolls south of the border, they are normally caged up but have been released to see if they can behave or more likely somebody left the cage door open accidently and they escaped from the lunatic assylum. nope they can't so back into the cage they go for another day.

Enjoy your stay, and btw ezic in girne has beautiful food and fantastic views to match. enjoy your stay in the north

You are advising her to do something illegal. If she takes advice from criminals like you then she will only have herself to blame if something goes wrong.

And apart from that Lordo's information on public transport is also incorrect...

When Frontex are strengthened and their role is transparent and representative, then I hope one day they extend to Cyprus and control ALL such illegal transgressions by anyone - TCs or their uninvited guests!

dear boy or girl which ever one you may be. that is not information, that is eperience. arrived at the airport at baf to find that there were no buses running for an hour and the service was not to south lefkosha, and not to baf bus-stop to take the bus to soth lefkosha but to baf city centre, so you have to catch another bus to take you to the bus stop to catch a bus to take you to south lefkosha. The bus service had finished to south lefkosha. so you have to get a bus to limasol city centre and then catch a bus to south lefkosha city centre and then catch a cab to to the border to picked up by a relative or have to have another cab to take you to destination. it took me 4 hours to go from london to baf airport. and then another 8 hours to get home in the north.

boy were you born stupid or did you become stupid on purpose.

You are out of date... From 26 March Kapnos shuttle runs from Pafos Airport to Nicosia direct.

I have been known to frequent both parts of Nicosia, although I have a very heavy workload nowadays.
