Chaos Assembly - Sounds good for a framework or something like that... but a browser?

Yeah you’re right but somewhere along the way we got mixed up and it switched to browser names!

You can't register a dictionary word as your own unless you are something like Apple Actually if we are talking about browsers there is a pretty popular browser called Puffin, which seems a lot like Boffin https://www.puffinbrowser.com/

It's a nightmare...

You don't need every keyword to be unique. For example because there is Microsoft it doesn't mean your company can't start with "Micro" or end with "soft". You can't find a dictionary (especially english) word which was never used as a part of a company or product name. If you want that much uniqueness you need to come up with a made up word, like Qvetoom. This is what Google and Yahoo did.

So it was a made up word created in a novel... still there were no products or company names or any trademarks on that name. They also write it "Yahoo!" with the ! at the end!
