...very interesting interview, thanks Tim.
...it has been an interesting ride, on this train Erdogan calls Democracy. He indeed is changing along the way, now the belligerent passenger it seems, on his way to a "New Turkey", he is discovering that the train does not make stops whenever it is convenient, nor does it travel in ways he imagined. In the thousands of Lawsuits this man alone, has brought for Judgement, i ask, how many have found a decision in his favour? Indeed, Turkey can only grow stronger with this precedent, if it does not break. Erdogan may well leave a mark on History, a Legacy that will be remembered forever. But, I don't think it will be the Palace, or the Bridges, the Trains, or the Pipelines, it will be the resistance that is building against him, and his ways.
...Hurriyet has had its ups and downs like any paper, so too Zaman, on a personal note, i miss the responses that were possible (in Hurriyet), i understand that anything electronic was erased (of Zaman); it is hard to believe.
