I would just like to point out that evidence of some of the oldest artificial dwellings anywhere in Europe can be found at Star Carr in Yorkshire, in England, dating back to about 8770 BC, with evidence of the oldest carpentry in Europe...so we managed to move out of cave dwelling without any help of Cypriots, thank you very much. And we were building massive stone structures long before the Mycenaeans in Greece - see Ness of Brodgar dating from about 3500 BC...
