Are you talking to your self General.

Nobody in their right mind would justify a ruthless dictator, my self included.

I did not support either Sadam Husein of Iraq , or Gaddafi of Libya. Both were ruthless dictators but look what has happened in both Iraq and Libya since the downfall of both of these dictators. Do you think that if Sadam was still in power Isis would have been in Iraq or in Libya if Gadhafi still ruled?

Both of the above nations in total chaos, try and understand that only a ruthless dictator can keep their respective nations stable, to a certain extend. If the alternative to Assad was a democrat then of course I and most would support Assad's removal. Frankly there is no alternative apart from 100 plus groups vying for power.

The West has made an error of judgement of gigantic proportions. Time will tell.
