I think it appropriate that glasses should be raised to celebrate the 92nd birthday of a great African statesman :- Robert Mugabe.

This gentleman has resisted the full fury of EVERY sanction and underhanded political trick the West has directed at his nation in their vain attempts to depose him.

IMHO He is one of the most corrupt and racist tinpot dictators in Africa, who has msnaged to turn his country from a formerlly rich agricultral nation in to a state of poverty, and contrary to any assertions you may make the poverty in Zimbabwe, with rampant inflation, is not down to anything external, but internal. It dies not surprise me to see you wish such a man happy bithday.

His life not be long. We must see who will follow him, but the damage is done and it will take generations to repair.
