Why don't you start a poll to see if people agree with my views or Robin Hood and your views?

You will be surprised about the outcome.

And no, I am not talking about nonsense! I talk of reform! I talk about all Syrians having equal rights as Syrians!

You talk about slaughter, massacre, and the obliteration of compromised and vulnerable minority groups and Sunnis.

Sorry, but I am very much at ease with my logic and compassion!

I talk about ...slaughter? General you have totally lost it.
Why dont you start a poll, nice and simple
DO YOU AGREE WITH PAHITIS ON THE SYRIAN ISSUE OR MILTIADES.
It must be an open poll with voters names shown, this will eliminate and fake votes.

No I haven't lost it. You were talking about slaughter, mass murder and even genocide because you believe it will bring peace by killing all the opposition.

You're a despicable human being!

Any ....links to substantiate your claim, General ?

I just watched a BBC news report showing a BBC crew and other journalists being taken around a Syrian town near the Turkish border by a Russian General and his crew, when they got shelled by what could only be assumed to be artillery fire from within Turkey. The Russians called in an APC to get them out of the area promptly (and almost crushed one journalist by accident)

It demonstrated how things as they are on the ground and, unless you subscribe to some idea that the Russians planned it as a propaganda show for the Western Press, shows who is behind the small breaches of the ceasefire so far, which the Syrians and Russians have very responsibly not used as an excuse to retaliate.

Just reading between the lines on a variety of reports.

IMO: The Russians have told Assad to tell the SAA, Hezbolah and the Iranian forces not to respond to minor infringements of the cease fire and If they have need to respond to protect life and/or property, only to use small arms and light weapons. Response to more serious incursions by Islamic ‘moderates’ and the FSA, of which there have been none so far it seems, will need approval from Damascus/Moscow at which point they will mobilise their air power. They also seem to have a good idea of what is being taken into Syria in the form of aid. Humanitarian aid (Food, Medicine etc) is passing through but Assad/Russians are keeping tabs on the smuggled replenishment of weapons to ISIL and Al-Nusra from Turkey. Assad, Russia and the coalition are still bombing and fighting ISIL and Al-Nusra in Syria.

Syria has all but died in the MSM because there is nothing of note to write about.

It appears that Kerry’s threat of imposing his Plan ‘B’ to partition Syria if the ceasefire failed has blown back into his face .... once again. Assad/Russians are making sure any failure will not be of their doing.

Once again Putin has used the US’s own rhetoric/actions to his advantage. :)

Mission accomplished! :D :D :D

Go back just over five months and look at the Russian statements at the time they entered into the conflict in Syria as to what they were there to achieve and there is NO argument that they have done what they came to do. Unlike Kerry, Putin never had a plan ‘B’!

The SAA and their allies are now in a position to deal with the conflict themselves because, with the help of Russian weaponry, they have all but destroyed the ability of the US backed ‘moderate’ terrorists to fight the war against Assad. Assad’s forces are now in a position to solve their own problem.

Putin said he wanted a negotiated settlement not a military solution; he said that first in 2012 before the US started arming the rebels to achieve the US’ aim of regime change.. The factions are now talking in Geneva ..... thanks to the Russian’s intervention. Putin has also stated that Russia will still retain a presence and the use of the bases in Tarsus and Latakia, by agreement with the Syrian government.

It remains to be seen if the US now steps up their supply of weapons and support for their proxy army of ‘moderate’ terrorists to try and reverse the gains that Russian support for the Assad government has achieved.

BUT THE WORLD IS NOW WATCHING!!!!

Kerry is already talking to his allies ....... the Saudis and the other Gulf States that are giving aid to Daesh and many of the ‘non-moderate’ rebels. Will this embolden them with US support to escalate the conflict to continue their masters aim of regime change? :?

What happens now should be for the Syrian people to decide and no one else, just as Putin has always said. The US working with Russia should now ensure that the UN are allowed to apply what is required to put the process into motion to ensure that the Syrian people get what THEY want not the US, its partners in this conflict and what the Israeli’s want. :x

Well done President Putin for a job well done ........... there is still a way to go for a complete peace, if indeed that is possible, but at least the ground work has been done for this to happen and all in the space of just 21 weeks!

This terrible conflict and all the repercussions from it, would never have happened had the US not ILLEGALLY armed the ‘moderate’ rebels in the first place. Assad would be at the point he is now within weeks of the initial uprising ..... again a ‘colour’ revolution instigated by the US ..... if the US had kept their noses out of another sovereign state’s affairs by trying to apply the US' solution ........ to protect US interests!

Seems all the US ever achieves is to make matters worse. :x

You could be right, a lengthy but detailed history of US meddling in the Middle East.

If you or I planned an act that was contrary to law and we got found out, would go to court and if found guilty we would spend a long time in jail? How come this guy is not arrested the second he sets foot on foreign soil for planning an act of war and mass murder?
Kerry Sought Missile Strikes to Force Syria's Assad to Step Down

Goldberg reports that “on several occasions” Kerry requested that Obama approve missile strikes at “specific regime targets”, in order to “send a message” to Assad – and his international allies (Russia?) – to “negotiate peace”. Kerry suggested to Obama that the US wouldn’t have to acknowledge the attacks publicly, according to Goldberg, because Assad “would surely know the missiles’ return address”.

Goldberg reports that Kerry had “recently” submitted a “written outline of new steps to bring more pressure on Assad”. That is obviously a reference to what Kerry referred to in Senate testimony in February as “significant discussions” within the Obama administration on a “Plan B” to support the opposition that would be more “confrontational”. Kerry made no effort in his testimony to hide the fact that he was the chief advocate of such a policy initiative.

Maybe Putin could arrange the International Arrest Warrant?
