All above are of course .. wrong, the General Plonker   says so

What about the Sunnis? Doo they support Assad?
We all formulate our opinions based on information gathered from the media world and political annalists since none of us is able to carry out any meaningful research into the situation in Syria or indeed anywhere else. You on the other hand base your opinions on "war games" , wishful thinking and illusionary developments as evidenced by your outburst and... generosity in sending everyone a ....H Pie whilst announcing ...victory for the rebels.

I always considered you a very naïve young man, only I grossly under estimated the level of your naivety .I think the vast majority of CY F members also share my view.

Do you know that Assad has never been challenged at election time? They are one party elections just like North Korea.

You haven't answered my questions?

Can Christians stand in these elections?

Are Sunnis able to get all the Baathist Party endorsements to also nominate?

I mean any geezer can rig the elections by knocking out all the opposition because they are not Muslim or are not supported by the Coupist Baathist Party.

I suggest you stick to your media reports because your too daft and lazy to do your own research.

NEW YORK TIMES ::
" Syria Truce Comes With Price, but Not for Assad"

"Why Syrians Support President Bashar al Assad"
http://www.globalresearch.ca/why-syrian ... ad/5510448

In the June 3, 2014 Presidential election millions of Syrians participated at over 9,600 polling stations across the country. Tens of thousands inundated the Syrian embassy in Lebanon to vote and thousands more came from around the world to vote in Syria because their host countries denied them the right to vote at the local Syrian diplomatic mission. Syrian abroad voted in 36 Syrian Embassies around the world. This was the first competitive election since the new Constitution was approved in 2012. The voting by Syrians living or taking refuge in Lebanon was massive.

Voting in Beirut needed to be extended by a full day. Similarly, the voting inside Syria on June 3, 2014 exceeded expectations and polls remained open until midnight to accommodate the huge numbers of Syrians waiting to vote. Insurgents increased their shelling of civilian areas in Damascus and Aleppo but otherwise the election was conducted peacefully and without attacks on voting stations. There was a large international observers delegation dispersed around the country. The Higher Judicial Committee of the Constitutional Court reported the results:

15,840, 575 were eligible to vote, both inside Syria and outside.
442,108 ballots were disqualified, for irregularities. (3.8%)
11,634,412 voted (73.4%)
Results of the election were presented by the Speaker of the Parliament:
Dr. Bashar al Assad received: 10,319,723 votes, 88.7% of the vote.
Dr. Hassan al Nouri received: 500,272 votes, 4.3% of the vote
Mr. Maher Hajjar received: 372,301 votes, 3.2% of the vote

All such reports according to General Chemical Ali are ...wrong

Paphitis:
You haven't answered my questions?

You never answer questions you just quote more questions.
Can Christians stand in these elections?

No ......... not according to the Constitution. Like I can’t stand in Cyprus because I don’t meet the requirements even though I have lived here for over 20 years ..... but you could, even though you don’t live here because I assume you have a Cypriot Passport but would fail on residency? Did you ever do your National Service?
Are Sunnis able to get all the Baathist Party endorsements to also nominate?

All Sunnis are eligible providing they meet the requirements laid down in the Constitution.
I mean any geezer can rig the elections by knocking out all the opposition because they are not Muslim or are not supported by the Coupist Baathist Party
.
You mean like deciding who can and cannot stand for President ........ purely because ‘WE’ don’t like it in case ‘he’ wins? At least Assad is Syrian and not one of a bunch of uninvited foreigners who have been illegally supporting a terrorist group attempting a coup by force of arms. Many of your 'moderates' are foreign mercenaries, will they be able to stand for election, should they get the vote too? :x
I suggest you stick to your media reports because your too daft and lazy to do your own research.

It's all bullshit, the real story is that 24 nominations were disqualified because they were not Muslim, not Alawites or did not have the backing of the Baathists. These elections hold no legitimacy!

I answer all the questions posed towards me the best I can!

Don't go hiding behind that illegal Baathist constitution. You see, you can't just make situation banning non Muslims and Christians from the democratic process and make it impossible for opposition to field candidates and then just say that Assad is only abiding by the constitution. That's not a constitution.

It would be a bit like Australia making an amendment to its Constitution banning all Muslims and all Aboriginal Indigenous from voting or fielding their own candidates. Highly illegal and disrespectful of their Human Rights as Australians.

That is the Constition of Syria. In addition, there were no booths in rebel held territories not that it would have mattered because they would not be allowed to vote anyway.

3 Christian Candidates were struck for being Christian. Others for being Sunni and others for not being endorsed by the Baathists.

Therefore, that Constitution has no legitimacy!

But if Pootin wants to get serious and truly wants a settlement, then these issues must be discussed in the next round of proximity talks otherwise we will be back to war in 2 weeks time.

Btw, it didn't take you guys long to violate the ceasefire. The rebels were bombed at 0400 this morning. Well done! Are your signatures worth the paper they are written on?

Why don't you start a poll to see if people agree with my views or Robin Hood and your views?

You will be surprised about the outcome.

And no, I am not talking about nonsense! I talk of reform! I talk about all Syrians having equal rights as Syrians!

You talk about slaughter, massacre, and the obliteration of compromised and vulnerable minority groups and Sunnis.

Sorry, but I am very much at ease with my logic and compassion!

I talk about ...slaughter? General you have totally lost it.
Why dont you start a poll, nice and simple
DO YOU AGREE WITH PAHITIS ON THE SYRIAN ISSUE OR MILTIADES.
It must be an open poll with voters names shown, this will eliminate and fake votes.

No I haven't lost it. You were talking about slaughter, mass murder and even genocide because you believe it will bring peace by killing all the opposition.

You're a despicable human being!
