DAESH poked the Russian Bear! Now the bear only has one eye!

And Assad lost some territory and supply lines and we are safe for now.

If DAESH keep this up, we might even justify their existance because it suits our objectives.

Man that Russian Multi-layered defense system looks so scary!!! I hope the British Tornadoes stay safe in Akrotiri.

The Australian Pilots should go to ski Dubai too because not much snow in Australia.

Just letting off some steam. Well overdue too. I was about to break out into a deadly rash if Pootin had his way.

Now, let's talk about this siege!

Thanks to the site Daesh Daily http://www.daeshdaily.com/ we learn that the following report in Arabic:

http://www.qasioun.net/%D9%85%D9%82%D8% ... 8%A8/9150/

tells us:

Daesh withdrew suddenly and without a fight from 27 villages east of Aleppo on Saturday and Saturday*, allowing Syrian troops to advance 40 km (25 miles) eastward along the road between Aleppo and Raqqa.

* That must be Saturday and Sunday, I suppose.

So I am not so sure about your thesis. In fact, given my belief that Daesh is ultimately controlled by the BAATH party, this kind of development comes as no surprise.

It's difficult to find the truth. You know what they say about war and truth.

If you scan the media, you will find reports often contradicting each other and even themselves as was the case with Smirnoff News. The Western Media is reporting massive territory losses for the regime around Aleppo.

All I know, are certain hard facts.

Pootin has made a sudden about face, and accepted all the terms of a ceasefire which were demanded by the Coalition/Syrian Opposition.

It also seems that the siege against Aleppo has not occurred or has been postponed.

This is all great news, because we are hoping the Syrian Opposition participate as legitimate stakeholders and administrative alternative to the current criminal regime that is in place right now. In short, the regime is not in a good spot.

I'm not so sure about that. I have noticed two Turkish experts on international relations recently saying they believe that some kind of backdoor deal has been made between the US and Russia, and part of the deal is that Russia gets to set up a puppet state possibly not covering all of Syria's current territory, but including all the economically important areas (and Syria is 40% desert). All Russia is interested in is keeping its Mediterranean base with enough territory around it under the control of a compliant regime. This only ranks as a conspiracy theory at the moment but the circumstantial evidence to my eyes is the way things are proceeding on the ground, and they are going Russia's way seemingly so miraculously that I can't help thinking that this theory may be true.

I would have to agree there. Nobody who believes in civilised human values, regardless of what faith they come from or whether they reject all faiths, can possibly condone DAESH.

I believe a seal has been made too and it either involves one of 2 possible scenarios - partition or transition. I said this a long time ago when everyone was mocking me that a deal was brewing.

We will see soon enough.

All the band wagoners have been taken for a ride and they are not smart enough to see beyond their noses!
