I would vote No1 their talking to mobile phones in public places, in gatherings, when waiting in queues etc.
What else would you vote for?

I had to agree that was my bugbear with people walking around looking into their smartphones the whole time or mums picking up their kids by sitting in the car and texting them the whole time where they can be found and then carrying on texting even as the kid is entering the car!
I'm not surprised Cypriots have become glued too as in some poll a few years ago, Cypriots were found to be the most techno-savvy people in Europe.
OK - rude behaviour by Cypriots?
Not taking "NO" for an answer!

As I'm still in full employment at the young age of almost 70 the phones are a necessity nuisance, take this morning for instance, at about 5.30am a customer calls , one of my best, to tell me her bloody interlock broke down last evening!!
The lady is a prime customer so I had to be polite at 5.30am, she knows I'm an early riser and always ..come !
I mentioned it to my daughter in Cyprus and her reply, dad, without a mobile how can we contact you ? The same way I used to contact my dad I replied !! We did come to an arrangement however that my mobile will be turned on weekdays only between 9am to 9.30am and 3pm to 3.30 pm NEVER ON SUNDAY !
