Definitely down. Because there is no way in hell the Government we have will tolerate buying anything from Chy-na in this current environment.
But that is one side of the issue. The other side is quality.
It sounds like the Australian Market has tried this Chy-nese technology and it hasn't taken off. Not like it has for the other 2 probably European or American manufacturers which have higher quality and higher standards. So that alone can force them down. Why would anyone want to buy an inferior product when there are high caliber German, French, American etc products? It's like when we buy a car. There are Chy-nese options like Great Wall motors. I have a tradie who actually bought a Great Wall Ute. Everyone on site actually teases him for it. The thing is falling apart now. Put it next to a Toyota Landruiser, Toyota Hilux, Ford Ranger, or Volkswagon and it is even obvious to my wife that the Chi-nese Ute is inferior by a big margin. Very noticeable to the layman. Go under the hood, and it's even worse for a mechanic who can pick everything.
But most definitely, with tariffs and embargoes being introduced by Chy-na, there is zero incentive now to support Chy-na and buy heir stuff.
Also as a side-note, Australia makes it's own Electric Buses with Tesla batteries, and Australia has the largest never done before Grid Power storage facility made by Elon Musk to store power during a blackout. So when the grid fails, this back up keeps the power on for 2 hours. There are only 2 in the world, the other being in California.
