WWW1 and WW2 are even older but no one, not even the Germans have stopped talking about them. As someone said in this forum, the war in Cyprus is not over yet, it's only a cease fire, so why should I stop talking about something that is not over and done with yet? Get what I mean?

He does not greet you with a welcome or wish you a happy holiday. Instead, you are greeted with a confrontation. Well, let me give a proper greeting this holiday season. I would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a happy new year.

peace

Cheer up "joe", at least I am not greeting you with bullets, bombs and bayonets, like you greeted us in 1963.

Ohhh..."the accession talks with Brussels" again.....LOL

Hey gus, read what I wrote again. I didn't say it's not over, someone else said that. Hope your confusion is cleared up now.

BTW, the Turkish Army doesn't want to bomb anyone, neither do I. We just want to be be left alone to live our lives in peace, just like we have been doing so since 1983, get it?

Friend Eric. if partition is your target, as it is since 1974 (1983 should be a very sad day for all the Cypriot Nation), why to waste your time in the section about the "Cyprus problem". Actually, according to your theory, there's now Cyprus problem yet. In your shoes, I'll be trying to get international reconition of your pseudo state. And I mean it. With my deepest respect.

Thanks for reading

Dayi, this is the worst Christmas greeting that I've ever seen. Your subject is really disturbing.

There are times that we should relax a little every once in a while and send some good wishes across. Lets remember that we are all human beings.

I wish a merry Christmas and a happy new year to all.

I wish you were around in 1963 to "relax a little" and be able to enjoy your Christmass boyo, because the Greeks and Greek Cypriots were sending out loads of "good wishes accross" riding on the backs of the bullets and bombs. And even now they are sending out their kind of "good wishes accross" in wanting to make you a and all TC's minorities so that the island of Cyprus becomes a Greek Island. If you are a minority with nothing to say about the running of the country then there is absolutely nothing to stop the Greeks from achieving their ENOSIS goal.

Oh yes, I know, they don't "want" ENOSIS anymore..LOL, anyone who believes that doesn't also believe that the war started in 1963 with the aim of ENOSIS but that the war started in 1974 when Turkey intervened to stop us TC's from being smothered to death by so much "love" we got from the GC's.

And of course not to forget that we are still getting this same show of "love" every time we ask to be treated as equals.

This is just mind-boggling. How can you say that they didnt attack villages suddenly and kill innnocent women, children, and old aged people. YOu know what, your right, they didnt....THey Killed ANyone IN THERe WAY. My village was sacked, people killed, and my family and I left to hide with others in fear and terror. Apparently, you my friend need to brush up on your history. What you need are the facts. 200,000 Greek Cypriots who made up 82% of the population in the north became refugees; many of them forced out of their homes. This is a violation of Human Rights by the Turkish army. 20,000 Greek Cypriots remained enclaved on the Karpass Peninsula and after much alleged persecution and ethnic cleansing, only 600 remain there. These are just two examples of the terror. This was not a defense, this was an invasion.
