I think the alleged statement was saying NATO/US forces occupying Russia (which wont happen of course).
There is no doubt in my mind that in a conventional war between Russia and NATO/USA/ANZUS, Russia will be in a lot of trouble and their military will face major destruction in particular their Navy and Air Force. Make no mistake about it. They could easily face occupation in certain parts.
