I'm not talking rusbbish.

having 16,000 tanks doesn't make you the strongest country in the world.

China is far more balanced as a power and so are France, Japan, India, Germany and Britain.

First of all, those tanks are useless unless Russia is invaded which will never happen. they can't even transport 200 of them to a conflict.

I only rate the conventional projection of power, and china is better able to project power, along with Britain, France, Japan, and Germany. So are Taiwan, South Korea, India, Indonesia, Australia, Italy and Spain to some extent due to their superior navies.

Russia for instance can't project power all the way to Australia apart from sending 4 to 8 ships which would be sunk in 2 days anyway.

May I suggest you drop an email to Global firepower and correct their rankings on the ground that Paphitis does not agree
By the way can you provide a link showing that Russia is not the worlds second largest power, and don't provide http://www.paphitisnonsense.au

BTW, if you want some rubbish links, I suggest you consult your idiot friend who takes the cake.

He will give you plenty FAKE News links.

he should be here soon! :D

BTW, the democrats are on board with mcCain in passing Russian Sanctions through Congress and into US Law.

This is a very rare showing of bipartisanship from the republicans and Democrats.

Basically, Trump is coming to the realization that the Sanctions issue won't be abolished with a simple stroke of his pen.

And also this from a Pootin mouthpiece just to appease youy even though its headline is sensationalist at worse and it talks a bit of nonsence in between the pertinent facts of USA codifying the sanctions into law. it also has a nice photo of McCain with a democrat senator.

What nice fellows! isn't it nice seeing the GOP and Democrats seeing eye to eye. Ah refreshing.

No one can unite us quite like pootin! :D

" Trump fires acting AG after she declines to defend travel ban"
"
Washington (CNN) — President Donald Trump fired acting Attorney General Sally Yates Monday night for "refusing to enforce a legal order designed to protect the citizens of the United States," the White House said.

"(Yates) has betrayed the Department of Justice," the White House statement said.

Dana Boente, US attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, was sworn in at 9 p.m. ET, per an administration official. A few hours later, Boente issued a statement rescinding Yates' order, instructing DOJ lawyers to "defend the lawful orders of our President."

Trump didn't call Yates to dismiss her, she was informed by hand-delivered letter, according to a different administration official."

If you ask me, it has exploded, mate. I was expecting there to be a few months' honeymoon during which time those of us who are horror struck at a once great nation being led by a proto-fascist self-confessed 'pussy groper' with no political experience and little nouse would have to supress our guts from wrenching - it looks like we've been spared even that.

Early days yet Tim, unpredictable as he certainly is, nevertheless he is the President of the worlds most powerful nation.
I think we have seen nothing yet, times ahead will, if one thing, be very .... interesting to say the least.
What is evident thus far is that he is determined to carry out his pre election promises. Politician he most certainly is not, but is he perhaps a realist ?
I'm watching with great interest developments unravelling , will form a judged opinion in weeks ahead.

Interesting times indeed. People like myself were naive enought to believe that a cosmopolitan, tolerant, open-minded and non-bigoted world view that supports pluralistic democracy and multiculturalism - the kind of things I myself believe in - had more or less gained universal acceptance in the West, and have now had a rude awakening in seeing how many people in the West seem to be hostile to such ideas and at the way that new populist movements seem to be capable of tapping into the anger these people feel at having been sidelined. People who support the kind of values that I thought had now become accepted as being part of Western civilisation and are in fact only valued by about half the population need to take stock of this and start trying to win the rest of society over to these ideas. The only other road leads to chaos and destruction in my opinion.

Bit of a daft thing to do. Either she should have confronted him in the office and if he would not compromise, she should have just resigned in protest. That would have made he look more professional?
