Mate, the priority, the only priority, is the end of this war. You have no say in the matter. You talk as if somehow YOU were running the coalition, you speak on behalf of the coaltion ?
Trump will talk to Putin and Trump will pull out.

Stop trying to convince your self that the US regards the coalition as anything but 'Proxies'. Trump will do what suits America ..... do you think he gives a toss about the Aussies ? Be realistic ..... Australia is important to China and it is only that link that the US has concerns about. What happens to Australia if the US tells you to impose sanctions on China and stop supplying them with all the raw materials for their 'war machine'?
America is the leader of the Western World and needs consensus with NATO countries, Japan, Australia, South Korea in particular.
In other words, they can't unilaterally do the dirty on their allies.
The establishment is so set they want to burn the Iran Treaty which lifted the embargo.
Trump is already back tracking quite a bit. He is going to try and keep most of Obamacare. For Europe, that means they will be hit with Defence expenditure demands to meet minimum Quotas as defined by NATO. Everyone is gonna be told to pull their weight or else.
POTUS dictates very much of what is US foreign policy.
The US won't desert their allies ...... he will just put a commercial price on being their 'Friend'. NATO countries in Europe are already quaking at the knees at the prospect of having to stand on their own two feet. The sabre rattling against Russia will now cool down a bit as a result. His approach seems about right to me.
He is, as you say, changing his approach to many things he said during the election campaign ....... but it is early days yet.
No ..... he is not keeping MOST of Obama care ..... he is modifying his proposal to incorporate SOME aspects of Obama care. Again, that seems the right approach to me.
His biggest challenge will be dealing with the financial system and the ..... dare I say it ...... New World Order?

" US President-elect Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin held their first telephone call on November 14. They discussed the crisis in Syria and agreed to improve the US-Russian relations.
The Kremlin said in a statement published on its website that the two leaders agreed that they share a common view on “uniting efforts in the fight with the common enemy number one – international terrorism and extremism” and discussed ways to settle the Syria crisis.
Trump and Putin paid attention to the importance of establishing a stable basis for bilateral relations by developing trade and economic ties between Russia and the US emphasized a need of “constructive cooperation.” Finally, they agreed to keep in contact by telephone and have discussed the idea of meeting in person.
Trump’s team has issued a statement on the phonecall saying Putin congratulated Trump on his election victory.
The statement says that Trump is “very much looking forward to having a strong and enduring relationship with Russia and the people of Russia.”

I predicted that Hillary was going to win, although she seems to have won the popular vote, she has lost the electorate vote, hence the presidency.
Well now, I have to agree with Donald Duck Trump about one thing if nothing else, that the elections was RIGGED, except, it was rigged against Hillary and in favour of Trump with the stunt the FBI director pulled 9 days from the elections regarding opening the "email gate" again and closing it again 2 from the election. Up to that point, Hillary was sailing to victory.
So, let the fun begin with Donald Duck Trump. No pussy is going to be safe in the White House now!

I see a huge wave of reaction engulfing the Western world, in fact, fuelled by the votes of the angry losers under globalisation. The forces of globalisation that are driving living standards down in the West will continue, and even though those who exploit the fears and anger of the dispossessed to sweep into power with their politics of hate and prejudice have no way of halting these processes, it looks they will continue to win the support of those who find no hope elsewhere for some time to come. Sad days indeed for all who hold the values of the European Enlightenment dear.
