In the meantime a cynical 1920's quote from H.L. Menken
When a candidate for public office faces the voters he does not face men of sense; he faces a mob of men whose chief distinguishing mark is the fact that they are quite incapable of weighing ideas, or even of comprehending any save the most elemental — men whose whole thinking is done in terms of emotion, and whose dominant emotion is dread of what they cannot understand. So confronted, the candidate must either bark with the pack or be lost... All the odds are on the man who is, intrinsically, the most devious and mediocre — the man who can most adeptly disperse the notion that his mind is a virtual vacuum. The Presidency tends, year by year, to go to such men. As democracy is perfected, the office represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. We move toward a lofty ideal. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

I wonder if anyone noticed the furtive presentation of the 'Black Power' (clenched fist) which Michelle made whilst seated adjacent to Hillary as the plight of the 'Afro Caribbean' populace was under discussion.
The right arm was outstretched (at low level) and there was no doubt about the significance of the meaning of the gesture which probably escaped the notice of those who had become influenced by the fact that their 'First Lady' was about to address them in support of 'The Clinton Campaign'.
American 'Presidential Campaigns' are an excellent insight into the mentality of the American public, if I may be so bold, may I describe them (overall) as "As daft as a bunch of Bollocks?" and THAT is putting it mildly.
Michelle should not have been anywhere near the rostrum, Obama should not have allowed Her to exhibit such a close allegiance to Hillary since such association (as seen) is only 'Grist for the Mill' to those who are already voicing the opinion that the vote will be 'Fixed'.
The sooner Obama, his 'Black Arse' and the 'Black Arses' of his family are out of the 'White House' the better.
Hillary mentioned that Michelle would miss her 'Vegetable Garden' at the 'White House', if that be the case, perhaps the Obama tribe (if they miss the colour 'White' and the process of 'Growth'), might do well to think about getting their 'Black Arses' back into the 'Cotton Fields' where they belong........ they could ALL dance around the fluffy little 'White Cotton Buds' till their hearts are content AND, leave the important stuff in the civilized world for the 'White Man' to sort out.
The 'Afro Caribbean' is not quite ready to integrate, far too much 'Chip on the Shoulder' for MY liking, maybe those who do not wish to man the 'Cotton Fields' might be better employed in 'Timber Yards', there they could carry their 'Chips' and do a day's work at the same time.
