John Kasich, last Republican Trump rival, quits race leaving Trump the only candidate and the now presumptive Republican nominee to face Clinton in the Presidential elections.
" Ruptures that have threatened the Republican Party since Donald Trump’s ascendancy a year ago burst into full view Wednesday as the party grappled with the reality he will be the GOP nominee for president."
In the meantime the bookmakers, though increasing the odds on Clinton from 1/7 to 4/11
and reducing Trump's from 7/4 down to 2/1 still have Clinton as the firm favourite to become the next US President.
Remembering that on entering the race Donald Trump was perceived by most as a " joke" anything is now possible. Apparently 51% of voters are females who do not particularly like Trump, the African American as well as the Hispanic vote are likely to back Clinton.
My personal opinion is that November is a long way from now and Trump has more than a fighting chance of beating Clinton to the Whitehouse and renaming the Whitehouse ....as the Trumphouse
