There are 2 members on the Cyprus forum that are rated in the members section as addict which rates at the highest scale with comments made on this forum however the contents of their comments are totally different from each other . I believe these 2 are from the extreme spectrum of grouping but it gives you a real indication as to the general opinion of each ethnic grouping . Get real has posted 38107 comments of which 3534 of his comments are anti Turkish . I have literally read each comment to investigate the Greek mentality and sadly even if most Greeks were half as anti Turkish that would still be extreme in their view. Denizaksulu who is also rated as addict made 3591 comments of which none were anti Greek comments . Do you see who has bad intentions towards who or who has negative thoughts about who .basically get real hates you if your a Turk and time will not heal this hatred or any effort to get on. I came to to this forum many years ago under a different name pretending to be Greek and I won't tell you which name it is however get real loved chatting to me until I said I was tc and I was married to a GC . He turned straight away. I was bull shitting him but I wanted to examine the way humans think and feel. When you give in to hatred you have a weak disposition. You can actually choose to hate or tolerate each other . It's a choice and choice depends on your decision . You can never say I hate this person because of this or that . You can only say I choose to hate because it's a choice . We are not animals and we have control over our thinking if we want to alter our opinions we can . Even if experiences form our opinion we still have the ability to rationalise and change our perception of each other .

Yet the two "extreme" people you mention have actually met in person and were driving around Cyprus one summer from Kyrenia to the Troodos mountains!

Deniz was a placid, Europeanised, and well educated fellow whom I got along with because he posed no threat to me. He came for a holiday to Cyprus yet had a stack of history books on his table… something that added to his charm. It would be great if he represented the average TC but he doesn't.

You did not investigate the Greek mentality because I’m not Greek by any stretch of the imagination, but that of a Cypriot refugee who neither forgets nor forgives... because for us refugees the invasion/occupation is still ongoing. It never stopped.

Yes but you represent the average greek person and that's the difference . You was only prepared to walk and talk with some one who would not argue with your extremist views . Our opinions should be based on our experiences however sadly most Greeks opinions are based on propoganda because even the your youth today hate turks . What experience hAve they had ?
