3. Some years back he ferociously defended a premise by another idiot that Cyprus SHOULD go to war with Turkey, that was the only option apparently, a war that he was convinced Cyprus would win.
It doesn't matter that these are my views but naturally you misrepresent in a slanderous manner.
I don't formulate my views in the hope that the majority will follow, and am happy being in the minority. I am not a sheep who follow other sheeple like you who always seeks approval. However, you will be surprised at how many strategists in very high level Government in America, Australia, and Germany actually find Pootin a much greater threat than DAESH can ever be. It is true, that Pootin is the globe's biggest threat bar none at this point in time. In just a few weeks, Pootin has escalated things into a possible yet still unlikely scenario where it will have a war with Turkey and then ultimately with NATO and America. The world has never been this close for as long as I can remember.

Pootin has put on a show to revive old empires but in the process they have put the entire planet in danger. And yes, a WW3 will be a short lived affair and hence not so bad as you think and it could solve a lot of problems too. Russia and America can't afford a major war so as soon as hostilities break out you would imagine that some kind of cease fire will follow and status quo will remain intact. Otherwise, you're completely fucked so kiss your ass good bye in that case!
If you think this is all about getting rid of DAESH then you're sadly mistaken. If this was about DAESH and other Jihadists like Al Nusra and Al Qaeda, Russia and American would be cooperating. But they ARE NOT! Because it isn't about DAESH for either of them.
