I thanked him profusely for his kind gesture in sending me the wine on my arrival and got down to business. The deal was struck within 10 minutes, what are you doing this evening he asked.
Im not planning anything I responded, well he said would you like to have dinner with me and my wife. With pleasure I said. You like Greek food he asked. I love it I responded provided is amptly accompanied !!

We arranged to meet at 7 pm, he would collect me from the hotel.

Sat at the balcony facing Akropolis and enjoying what was left of the wine.

Little did I know what was to follow !!!

What is it with you guys? Y is one of the nicest person one could ever meet. He has a very active and interesting life. I think its jolly decent of him to share it with us. You keep it posting Y and don't take any notice of these miserable guts

I have met and socialized with many from the Cyprus Forum over the years, struck a friendship with all of them, shared a drink a chat and a joke or two.

Mr-from-Ng one such, the late Kafenes, Bananiot, my very good friend Deniz, Jerry, Bill Cobbett, Kikapu, Halil, CBBB, and many more who no longer post on the forum.

All have responded to me in a gentlemanly fashion and none, Im sure, would refuse to ....buy me a drink.

May I ask the two or three plonkers what exactly is their problem. If they find my writiings objectionable there is a simple solution, dont read them , dont comment, simple !
