Car M.O.T. Tests

I was told Today that cars over ten years old do not require MOT tests.

Is this true?

I hope your right devil though by some of the vehicles I see on the roads there is no way that they would even pass a visual inspection from Roy Orbison let alone a mechanics scrutiny.

It is categorically not true.

My motor is 13 years old and totally needs as MOT. So said the insurance company.

My insurance company has started asking for the MOT when renewing or issuing insurance.

It's a lie dude... All cars and small vans have to pass MOT unless it's new.

A good idea, but I don't expect all motorists have insurance.
