Well Russia has just suspended all economic ties with Turkey (except selling them gas). Russians are restricted from travelling to Turkey and Turks are banned from going to Russia.

This move threatens billions of $$ worth of trade and this will also weaken the lira much more verses the currencies belonging to Turkey's other major trading partners. Notably, the US Dollar and the Euro. I don't call that good fortune.

Downing that Russian plane was a very costly move by the Turks.

Bloody hell! Turkey just won the lotto!

Again wishful and one sided thinking! Turkey is Russia's second biggest trading partner after Germany. Most of that trade benefits Russia. The Russians are building two of Turkeys largest projects, the Nuclear reactor and Kanal. Turkey also buys 70 percent of its gas and is the biggest consumer of Russian wheat. So Russia has much to loose as well. Turkey will be impacted by Tourism losses. But Russia already faces santions from the EU and US and other major states, many countries have seen steep decline in Russian visitors and Russians are unable to buy goods so consumers in Russia are suffering. I suspect this is alot of macho posturing that will probably blow over.

Russia has done it.....

They only have a commitment with the gas supply, they have practically stopped everything else.

Turkish assets have been hammered this week over a stand-off between Moscow and Ankara over the Turkish downing of a Russian warplane.

"The outlook for the lira is quite poor," said William Jackson at Capital Economics. "Turkey has one of the largest current account deficits in the emerging world, which makes it vulnerable to any slowdown in capital flows, concerns about government authoritarianism, encroachment on central bank independence, and security concerns."

The lira traded at its weakest in four weeks against the greenback early on Friday and is set to chalk up the steepest weekly losses since March. Istanbul's main stock index rose 0.5 percent on the day, but was on track for a weekly drop of almost 7 percent - the steepest such loss in nearly two years.

And Turkey suffered record losses already this year. :P

So given the chance I would HAPPILY push the red button.

Hence my words are only towards you alone and not any one else that is humane. I believe in Kama . The words you have just spoken that I can't believe that people like you actually exist . I hope your whole family die in pain . I hope they get run over by accident whilst crossing the road or drown next summer . I hope and may bad Kama come upon you that your loved ones die in such pain that you will watch their life go in front of you . I hope you live to see the day that another evil cunt like you that obviously lives on this earth will rape murder your who,e family and I fucking hope it happens soon . The words you have used above you should be put away because you are clearly saying you would commit murder .

Get real is a mother fucker . His mother is riding on my cock whilst I fuck his wife . He is a fucking animal . I would love to see get real tortured and burnt alive . He wants to murder innocent civilians in turkey by pressing a red button to murder women children . I can't believe the forum is allowing such comments hence form this day onwards I shall be insulting this animal every time I see his name to test this forum . If I am taken off the forum and get real is allowed to stay on after I continue to insult him I shall be I shall be contacting the police for his remarks of intent to commit atrocities and mass murder of civilians and intent to incite hatred and racist bigotry.
