Turkey's gone running to hide behind NATO's apron-strings now. :P

Regional ambitions for Turkey are history as reality is now biting the Ottoman's on the bum!!

From Guardian:
Meanwhile, a US official has said that initial indications are that the Russian incursion into Turkish airspace lasted a matter of seconds.

Many NATO countries will not be happy with Turkey trying to manipulate them into a conflict with Russia... even the Americans might be pissed at the Turks for taking such initiatives which aim to serve the Turkish interests alone at the expense of the interests of most other countries.

First of all… RIP Major Sergey Rumyantsev from Chelyabinsk and the copilot whose name or picture I don't have. They were murdered by a ISIS supporting Turkish thug while ridding the plagued ME of terrorist monkeys.

Having screwed up Erdogan, will no doubt have been scrambling on the phone all day non-stop trying to get assurances of military support but on this occasion Turkey is NOT entitled to collective self-defense rights under NATOS' Article V because Turkey is the instigator and I’m sure Ankara has been warned by NATO multiple times not to shoot at Russian planes for obvious reasons.

Furthermore, Turkey is a constant violator of Syrian and Iraqi airspace so that defeats their pitiful argument about protecting their airspace regardless of whether the Russians were inside or outside of it for a fraction of a second it would take a fighter jet to traverse that tiny area I’ve seen on the map.

Some Russian sources are already calling this an act of war but that’s not the official Russian position as yet but what’s Turkey going to do if Russia interprets this as an act of war and starts trashing Turkey with long-range ballistic missiles at their leisure or cruise-missiles their government buildings, palaces, military installations, etc?

Well Turkey can do fuck all because Russia has the power to turn Turkey into glass from very long distances if they so desire and I’m pretty confident that nobody would come to Turkey’s rescue because (1) Turkey instigated this, (2) Turkey is an Islamic state, (3) NATO will not risk WWIII for the sake of Turkey the Islamic state.

Finally, over the years I’ve seen many signs that NATO does have two sets of rules as is the case with pretty much everything in the West where double standards is the name of the real game.

Russia would be very foolish to not respond within 72 hours as it would be seen as a serious weakness worldwide and something that would encourage an illiterate hothead like Erdogan to repeat such acts while hiding behind NATO thereby jeopardizing Russia’s mission in Syria.

The Russian response should be swift and very decisive so as to both punish the perpetrator and send a very strong message to other ISIS supporters in the region such as Saudi Arabia, that terrorism sponsoring will not be tolerated.

I see this as Putin’s opportunity to put an END to the ISIS debacle not only through bombings which are clearly insufficient but by cutting off all funds and supplies to ISIS through collective punishment of criminal states that support them.

Addendum:

There's a 2nd related incident against those choppers that flew out to find them...

http://sputniknews.com/world/20151124/1 ... ussia.html

So this brings the total to 3 people dead and two aircraft lost as a result of Turkey's actions.
