Gawd, I bet the smell in that Turkish submarine was unbearable once they realised they had drawn up close to a Russian cruiser.

I accept that the area that defined Turkey as a nation and state when it was created as such is the area that can be said to belong to Turkey. I do not claim that all the areas that were in the ottoman empire and not part of what is today Turkey can be sensibly said to be given back to Turkey. They could be said to be given back to Turks, but not to Turkey, because as you rightly say Turkey did not exist back then - thus there can be no giving BACK because Turkey never had dominion over those areas. Exactly the same as with you saying Russia should hand what is today Turkey BACK to Greece. It is a stupid thing to say because Greece never had dominion over those areas. Greeks may have but not Greeks.
Pedantic as my point may be it is logical and sound and consistent. Of course none of this matters to you because actual reality is irrelevant to you. You said it should be handed back to Greece and thus that MUST be right - for no other reason than you said it. Actual reality remains irrelevant in the face of that need of yours, as ever.

According to the latest data of the Hellenic National Defense General Staff, since 2011, more than 7,000 aircrafts have been increasingly violating Greek sovereignty in the Aegean. Specifically: 3,545 Infringements of Air Traffic Regulations, 6,421 Violations of National Air Space and 64 Overflights of National Territory.
These numbers include 878 armed formations, which brings the significance of the threat to a whole other level. Join us in demanding that Turkey end its violations of Greek airspace:

Turkish President Erdogan has dramatically increased his country's violations of Greek airspace.

The reasons for kicking Turkey out of NATO have been mounting up for years! How ironic that it will be Russia that will help clean up the mess that NATO has become whilst Turkey has gone unchecked.
This is how Turkey treats a fellow NATO member:According to the latest data of the Hellenic National Defense General Staff, since 2011, more than 7,000 aircrafts have been increasingly violating Greek sovereignty in the Aegean.
