10 warnings to getting a plane up in the sky to shoot it down. all in 17 seconds? Is it?

Yes 10 warnings in 5 minutes and most of these warnings were whilst the aircraft was in Syrian Airspace.

Next idiot please! :D

Russian pilots say they did not get any warnings

Turkey cant issue warnings while Russian planes are in Syrian airspace.

Russian pilots would have been briefed post incident and told what to say!

Fact of the matter is, they got shot down, and no one is going after Turkey because it was Russia behaving in a threatening manner targeting Turkmens.

Basically, Pootin is up shit creek without a paddle. :D

Its a fact that the plane got shot down but the fact of the matter is that the Russian plane was not acting in a threatening manner.

do you want to do a rewind because Turkey has been behaving in a threatening manner years before this incident in Syria bombing Kurds.

Then take the opposite argument than when it was their plane that got shot down.

Who do you think you're kidding?

Let me tell you that Australia intercepts Russian Aircraft over 200nms (400kms) away from its Airspace and they start receiving warnings from there to either alter course, disclose intentions or follow and land at a RAAF base!

They are also jammed right up which in itself is an unfriendly action. We had these types of situations only a few months ago.

You can tell me Paphitis but you cant change the fact that Australia is surrounded by 100's Kms of sea and any plane approaching is heading for Australia. Threat or not threat.

Syria and Turkey share a land border.

How is this flight path a threat? Looks more like a Turkish ambush to me claiming to "protect" the TS's (Turkish Syrians).

It violated Turkish Airspace well and truly, so it is beyond any question of doubt a massive threat!

It is also highly illegal!

The Greeks need to grow some balls!

It's because Greece don't have any bollocks, Turkey keeps violating.

There are lessons here, but you're too daft to comprehend them!

the difference is though that Turkey disputes Greece sovereignty in the Aegean and does it on purpose when she is wrong anyway. Russia flew in Turkish airspace for 17 seconds accidentally, at best.
