I tried to watch a few full-length movies on YouTube and had to give up all three times after just a few minutes.

They seem to play at a much slower speed and the speaking-parts are consequently difficult to follow.

I need to watch one of them for a course - so ideally, I would like to know if the play-speed is fixable.

Has anyone else experienced this?

By "restart" my PC do you mean just switch it off and on again?

I switched everything off for about half an hour and I've just checked one of the films and it's still playing at a slower pace.

Now I've set it to play at twice the speed and so I can cut down my watching time for that darn course movie.

A movie rated at 6.4 is junk by all standards , even for those who like thrillers.
what use could it be for any course?? btw is it a psychology course?

That's not the movie for my course. After I couldn't view/hear my course video well, I checked a few others out and realised that it was a general problem.
