I think I know what lordo is trying to say but it's come out wrong . Me and the wife are British cypriots . Our ethnic background is she would be labelled as gc and I as tc although that in its self would cause a debate however our daughters don't have that need to express what ethnic group they belong to but just simply say Cypriot . I don't know about the true Cypriot bit but I would say they don't have to attach a label Before the word Cypriot. Some of May object to this and say we are all Cypriot but you can't even run away from the fact that the language you speak would in most occasions either be greek or turkish and your faith would either be Islam or Christianity so you can't ignore that factor as its self evident
