Naturally, I will be called a misogynist! Imagine someone writing an article like this in an Australian, American, Canadian, or British newspaper. The feminist lynch mobs will come out!
However, let's look at it analytically!
Misandry is the hatred of men. Misogyny is the hatred of women. There is no doubt that both exist, but Misandry is literally OUT OF CONTROL and most guys (society as a whole) are just accepting it.
Valerie Solanas, a radical feminist in 1968, provides a great example of Misandry in her book, The SCUM Manifesto. In case you're wondering, SCUM is an acronym for Society for Cutting Up Men. Quite literally, Solonas advocates for the clear marginalization of the male gender and even destroy the male sex.
Some of you might think that this is pie in the sky! But is it really?I will explain later how far Misandry has developed.
But what can be done about it? Well part of the problem is that men accept it as a norm of everyday life. Males are not challenging even the little things, and these things lead to bigger things, some really big things which have even resulted in men taking their own lives just to explain how serious it really is. For one thing, men need to make their own stand and challenge Misandry wherever they find it. You will be surprised at how widespread it is now. It far exceeds Misogyny, and yet we hear nothing about Misandry.
Once upon a time (the older days), respect was a 2 way street. These days, it is more a one way street. Men are demanded to be respectful of women, even when those women who do not earn respect. At the same time, disrespect of Men is expected, condoned, perpetuated, and even taught in schools, children's programs, commercial TV and so forth. Yes, misandry is all around us, but no one is saying anything!
Next time you turn on the TV, have a look at how many times things like "stupid boyfriend", "abusive husband" or "paedophilic father figure" are used. There are abusive women out there too, so just imagine a male going to the authorities to get some help or report it and what will happen to him if the female counteracts with an untruthful statement about him. The tables will turn and the victim in this case will be crucified. So there is practically no reliable recourse or protections if you're a male! Therefore, Men feel helpless and can resort to other solutions. Will get back to this later.
Now back to TV. Nearly always, women are depicted as smart, sassy, full of beans, capable of juggling a career lifestyle and children, a husband and a social circle. Let's not forget that she is also a fantastic cook and remembers everyone's birthdays and men of course don't. It's actually quite seedy but it's going over everyone's head! Obviously Males are not capable of this, and even can't remember dates.
Now watch children's programs. Children are being exposed to things like "Silly Daddy" and Bullying Brother Figure". Oh yes, the bully is always a male, never a female but some females are even bigger bullies in different ways. That is the truth! Now imagine a little boy going to his Headmaster to tell him that Cindy is bullying him. Now imagine what the other boys will say about him when they learn he had to dob on another girl for being bullied. Other boys will now bully and tease the boy for "being bullied by a girl". So males are encouraged and conditioned from an early age to not be aware of it and to not talk about it.
Then we have things like the "Violence Against Women Act" which seems to imply by its very notion that males are the primary perpetrators of violence. Studies have shown that Men and Women are equally as violent to each other in some "intimate relationships". So I find legislation like this a bit troublesome when it does not mention violence against Men or Children.
Now look at Family Law, and the inequities towards Male Custody of Children, access to children and family assets. A Male can get cleaned out and face financial ruin and on top will have no access or very little access to their own children. And this is a state of affairs that is accepted and condoned.
THE RESULT:
1) the break down of old values,
2) the break down of the family unit,
3) young children with significant problems, even drug and alcohol abuse,
4) high suicide rates among children,
5) high divorce rates,
6) higher infidelity rates,
7) very high male gender suicide rates.
It's a very serious issue which is being brushed under the carpet by the authorities. Yet literally, there are hundreds of male suicides each year due to the gender imbalance in family law. More males have committed suicide as a result of this than have died from Ebola, yet no one knows it or is willing to talk about it. This is a war against men, literally!
