Some very unclear messages have been forthcoming from Moscow and Tehran which seem to indicate that they are now willing to negotiate some kind of Syria transition away from Assad.
The statements remain unclear, but key analysts are suggesting that Pootin may be willing to negotiate some kind of Syria Peace Treaty with Assad stepping down.
It looks like the wheels are literally falling off with Pootin coming to terms with some realities. So Russia and the Coalition might merge their operations against ISIL, Al Nusra and some other groups however the FSA and it's more moderate allies are off limits.
The new language from Russia seems very positive. Indications are that Lavrov is willing to negotiate a transition.
But still, Pootin's word and signature is not worth the paper it is written on inmho!
