insan wrote:Your government officially have been telling the TCs the otherwise... "whenever you wish, we are ready to embrace you." is just a lie? A propaganda? Well, we will see... though she many times proved that abiding by it's words... i think they can't/won't discriminate me... there are some 100 TCs who were restituted/compensated/exchanged their properties and either living in south or abroad... It's not my official duty to tell Turkey anything... you have Akinci, some other TC political parties and TC NGOs... I'm just an ordinary TC who dreams becoming a shepherd of a few sheeps and goats.
if that is your dream insan speak to gr, he has already got his sheep and goats and wellies to prove it. he will tell you how it is done.
talking of claiming tc land, you have to go through probate and change the name on the title. you would think that fact thata father has already done that in the north with the titles would be respected by the roc as the wish of the father, you must be joking. you must do it in the south too and this time through the court system. but i can tell you it can take up to 7 years before your name is on your deed.
but of course as per usual the assholing greaks here believe the myths they create. apparently if you stay in the south 6 months you can claim your land. i have a friend in limasol who has lived in limasol for 10 years and has been paying his taxes and is unable to claim his land or get any health treatment.
but i intend to go through the system and will not accept an out of court settlement. a european court decision will be made and it will be implement.
