I think you should double check this 6 month rule.
Imo it's not really 6 months. You have to be living in the RoC controlled areas while your application is evaluated. So it might eventually be much more, my guess is about 1.5-2 years.
Is your wife having a good job at least?

Will your mother need treatment in the free areas?

I think so...

Well, then I have to be blunt. You have to decide what's of more immediate priority. Screwing the RoC health system to make sure your mum is cared for, screwing the RoC welfare system to make sure you have unemployed-status benefits or screwing the RoC for the Turkish-imposed housing crisis.

Or are you going after all three?

I will "screw" RoC by all available lawful means GIG... How much will i get for 41 years of loss of use and how much will i be taxed for it, do you have any idea? For whose benefit the tax will be used?

Ps: I informed the regional EU ombudsman and all international human rights bodies about this issue... i need some impartial observers...

I'm sure if you told them the facts, they will tell you Turkey is carrying out illegal activities and you should tell them to piss off and all will be well again. You can have your father's houses as soon as the Turks leave without further ado.

Your government officially have been telling the TCs the otherwise... "whenever you wish, we are ready to embrace you." is just a lie? A propaganda? Well, we will see... though she many times proved that abiding by it's words... i think they can't/won't discriminate me... there are some 100 TCs who were restituted/compensated/exchanged their properties and either living in south or abroad... It's not my official duty to tell Turkey anything... you have Akinci, some other TC political parties and TC NGOs... I'm just an ordinary TC who dreams becoming a shepherd of a few sheeps and goats. :D

What are you moaning about now? The RoC are doing their best to help the TCs out even if the 200,000 GCs still suffer.

You haven't even tried to prove your father's houses should be given to you yet. Any other relative might come along and say the same. So, be a good boy and set the wheels in motion .... get your probate done as everybody else has to. But do not start asking for this and that and the other when there is NO reason for you to have all these other extras!

Good luck!

if that is your dream insan speak to gr, he has already got his sheep and goats and wellies to prove it. he will tell you how it is done.

talking of claiming tc land, you have to go through probate and change the name on the title. you would think that fact thata father has already done that in the north with the titles would be respected by the roc as the wish of the father, you must be joking. you must do it in the south too and this time through the court system. but i can tell you it can take up to 7 years before your name is on your deed.

but of course as per usual the assholing greaks here believe the myths they create. apparently if you stay in the south 6 months you can claim your land. i have a friend in limasol who has lived in limasol for 10 years and has been paying his taxes and is unable to claim his land or get any health treatment.

but i intend to go through the system and will not accept an out of court settlement. a european court decision will be made and it will be implement.

Let's see lordo... by the way, the properties belong to my mom, not father... my father too inherited some portion of grand dad's properties in Larnaca and didn't take any GC proerties in north... however, we are not on speaking terms for a very long time... he is very stuffy, though he is a very good lawyer...
