So if you are jobless how will you pay after the 3 months?? Or you will just bum and not pay your rent for the rest of the time.

People like you are black listed and others here should not be helping to fuckup some poor landlord who will be unlucky enough to get stuck with you.

Do you know any other reliable and up to date property websites that i can search for propert and get in touch online? MPA properties is good... i went to their office in Strovolos and talked face to face... after they learned that im jobless they ignored me... i offered 3 months payment in advance for a 2 bedroom house but they don't even respond to my e-mail messages...

Rent it yourself DIRECTLY. There is a weekly ads newspaper called ΧΡΥΣΕΣ ΕΥΚΑΙΡΙΕΣ spells like hryses efkeries -->Golden opportunities.
Hundreds of ads for rent every week. The paper is very well organized in sections, have someone who knows Greek translate you.
Alternatively scan the relevant section and post it here. We will do it for you.
Forget about an estate Agent. They get 1-2 rents commission.

the paper has an online version but is not so rich as the printed one.

Absolutely not. The only solution is a population transfer (or resettlement if you prefer) of the Turkish minority back to Turkey because they’re not compatible in any way with the Cypriot natives.

There are serious discrepancies in culture, religion, language, affiliations, loyalty, etc, and we’re definitely not willing or even interested in ceding any of our rightful territory to accommodate such an incompatibility so the only logical choice is resettlement.

This has been done many times before in history and proven very successful.

You are welcome.
i just had a look at the online version that's crap. Too old and very few updates...Just buy the printed thing.
as for moving around/finding the addresses I suggest you buy a GPS from ebay with Cyprru's maps on. costs about 60 Euros and they usually load the IGO maps. They work on any language even Turkish. You just punch in the address and the GPS would drive you there.

I personally cracked the google maps and use those offline on my GPS at the occupied where the IGO and other maps provide no info.Damn the google maps alone ate me 9GB of space from my SD Card

The recent economic meltdown has inadvertently made lives for most Cypriots difficult if not unbearable. I understand their predicament and I hope that soon our economy will recover. Many dreadful mistakes were made by the "ruling" classes affecting the lives of ordinary decent Cypriots. What happened following the closure of banks is nothing short of daylight robbery.

I don't complain about my personal circumstances and financial loses as I know fully well that others have suffered a great deal more than just losing a life's savings.

I understand that my views are those of an older, though not yet retired, man who does not face the same dire prospects in employment as in other fields also. Cyprus has always been for me my very own paradise on earth. I expressed these sentiments way back in early 2006 when I first joined CY forum.

I also expressed my views on my T/C compatriots which views have remained solid and consistent.

...good advice.

Walk down the streets you want to live on. There will be signs on the property themselves. Speak to the local store owners, where you will likely buy your goods, the grocer, and baker may be helpful. If you notice a bulletin board in these shops, check it out. You may want to place your own ad, there; maybe a lessor will find you that way...

My sister in law lets her own brand new 2 bedroom apartment at Aglantzia near the University to University students for 300

€300, maybe... but I don't believe you can get a good 2 bedroom apartment in the city for €250... then again what is "good" is subjective...

For Nicosia and Limassol just get the free 2GIS app for any mobile device and also online: http://2gis.com.cy/nicosia
