Taking my old bike with me wouldn´t make much sense because of the cost of transportation.

The last time I checked, bringing a bike would cost another 40€ only. Double that if you want to send a heavy battery or two. Still not much if it's hard to find good offers in Cyprus

Actually, I was trying to joke and ask whether being German is a good or a bad thing - not whether having insurance is. But so much for German humor Hopefully this humor fail will be my biggest failure in my upcoming Cyprus adventure.
