It's futile to discuss anything with GR. His sense of reason is watered down to piss and his primitive beliefs hardened to stone like dinosaur shit.

What is so difficult to understand about the simple parallel in this thread? :?

Those who try crossing a mere 12 kilometers with a shitty little boat that doesn’t have any of the luxuries and technologies DROWN AND SLEEP WITH THE FISH let alone attempt a journey of 1,000-1,500km! (ie: Athens to Paphos)

Such a journey would not have been possible in 1200BC unless they stayed close to the vast Turkish shore and had multiple frequent stops.

"The latest technology luxury boats with plenty of supplies and GPS support?"

You can be a knuckle head sometimes. In 1908 Captain Joshua Slocum circumavigated the globe in a 30 foot boat, alone, with no engine. Read up on it.

On some subjects you could at least suspect that others have deeper knowledge, both theoretical and practical.

Slocum started a fashion, since then every year, thousands of people have crossed oceans in small craft, often with no engines, and obviously no fucking GPS. They wrote best selling boosk about their voyeages, but you would not have come across them, too busy theorising.

Before GPS several people crossed the Atlantic, from the Azores to Barbados in Klepper CANOES.

The Polynesians reached New Zealand in CANOES over a thousand years ago.

Yes, the ancients before the invention of the magnetic compass and star navigation sailed within sight of land. So what? That makes Cyprus an ideal destination for boats from any neighboring country.

Wake up and drop the nonsense theories, especially about things you do not know.

I was gonna suggest they fly you over to the Turkish coast as an emergency to teach all those captaining boats that keep losing passengers by the dozens every day, but I fear you don’t believe these things are happening for real because it’s impossible right?

Ah well, back to the Turkish water pipe thread for you…

In this thread, we witness Get Real comparing ancient Greek wooden vessels designed and manned with the aim to sail long distances with the cheap inflatable dingies Turks use to offload Syrian refugees into Europe after stealing all their money.

You overload a boat, any boat, shove off into rough seas, you gonna sink. No matter who you are. So stop the cleverness, it makes you sound dumb.

The Costa Concordia with millions of dollars worth of high tech navigation aids sank in relatively calm water a few miles off shore. So can any other ship in the wrong circumstances.

Cut the BS.

Stick to the Turkish water pipe thread where you may hopefully convince them that the inauguration didn’t really happen but were scenes from last year’s military parade!

'Ηθελα να 'ξερα τι στ'ανάθεμμα καπνίζεις. 'Ο,τι μαλακία φκάλει ο νους σου έρκεσαι τζιαι κουκκουφάς δαμέ όπως την κοτζιάκαρη.

The other posters in this thread already produced evidence to counter your claims. Even if we had Jesus on horseback take you back in time and show you the Myceneans arriving to Cyprus you would still deny it. What is even the point of this thread other than for you to once again use the forum as your toilet.

What I smoke is nowhere near as strong as what those who were writing Greek fairy-tales were smoking… that's for sure!

They're all posting garbage so far... I've known them all for years and their combined IQ is like that of a Mycenaean.

The trick is what I said further up. 1-2 years ago I gave them a map of a typical journey showing how it could be accomplished with frequent loops to the Turkish shore but that of course opens another can of worms; as I explained back then, which destroys their theory further...

They don't want to go to the loops because they know what's gonna happen to their mythology so they insist on straight (direct) journeys. :)
