I think most of the guys don't really know the meaning of "feminism" but it's not their fault either.
The type of feminism that supports equal rights, a fairer workplace etc is something I agree with 100% I believe in a 100% meritocracy. So if a woman is the best person for a particular job, then it should be hers. Quotas is something I can't agree with in positions of power because it implies giving jobs to women just to 'make up the numbers'.
However, there seems to be a subculture of
misandry at times. I guess or at least hope that it is this that some people are referring to in this thread but are unable to explain themselves too well. As is usual, it is usually the fanatical elements that get a disproportional amount of airtime, to the detriment of feminism as a whole.
Misandry is an element that gets overlooked in this PC world. But it is an element which is evident but heaven forbid a male mention it.
