And given that spirits are immortal and thus not bound by time, does it not make sense that traversing and exploring the universe will be a given?

Nothing is immortal. Even the Sun, our Solar System and the entire galaxy and universe has a life span. Our universe will one day implode on itself.

So where are these spirits going to go?

No, it doesn't make sense. It's just your assumption. The only given is that selected humans will live in paradise, which according to many Christian Saints is an actual spiritual place.

The universe is part of the physical world, just like the Earth.

Man could have been created to get energy for his needs from the sun or other sources (without the need to eat or drink) and still be a superior creature intended for superior things.
So either this planet was created for the rest of the creations that clearly can keep a balance on it, or it was created for man that already proved that he's only good to destroy all the balance and all life on earth.

I imply to you that man on this planet is a parasite and was not placed on this planet by THE creator but by other creatures of the creator for their own reasons.

There's no such thing as a "spiritual place" There is only terrestrial (on Earth) and celestial (in the heavens).

There’s nothing to be found outside the universe because the universe is infinite. The "heavens" you hear about is celestial space located in the universe.

There are other creatures everywhere in the Universe.They can't create life. At best they would do genetic engineering to some apes for their own reasons.
As much as it hurts my pride as a human being, it's not the first time I have mentioned in this forum we are an army of slaves.
