yeah, of course, but they should pay that off with currency.

I wouldnt trust water coming from the Turks anyway, they would probably contaminate it and at 60-80 cents per litre, its far too expensive.

Our dams deliver 290 million tons per year. Our desalination plants can deliver 1 million per day! We currently supply them with water free of charge in case you don't know...
And they have the nerve to think they will sell us water???
One more word and we cut off the pipe that delivers them water free of charge.

I don't think you know the native Cypriots very well... the world hasn't invented a treatment plant that removes Turkishness yet!

There's a guy sitting in the water as it flows down to the dam.

You can keep that water :-?

I'm amazed that dam water in the GC area isn't apparently treated before being sent into the domestic system. Our is purified first.

Vindictively cutting off the water supply by GCs is yet another reason that we are so pleased to have this source.

Water transfer from Turkey a violation of international law, says Acting President of the Republic

Water transfer from Turkey to the Turkish occupied area of Cyprus constitutes a flagrant violation of international law and continuation of unlawful conduct against the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic, said Saturday Acting President of the Republic, President of the House of Representatives Yiannakis Omirou.

This action, he said, is still an attempt to integrate the occupied territories in Turkey and undermine the ongoing negotiations on the Cyprus problem.

"We condemn in the strongest possible way to the European and international community those marauding and expansionist attitudes of Turkey and we call upon the UN, the European Union and its Member - States to condemn such actions and to demand compliance by the occupying power towards the international and European law", he concluded.

That was meant for the idiots who think they will sell water to us. :!:
For the rest of you, since you now have your own, you wouldn't mind cutting it off, without that been considered a vindictive act, would you?

Ill just pop down to the local periptero and buy some cases of bottled Agros to water my vegetation with - FFS. They want to share (sell) it to the RoC but only a numpty would pay that.

How about the TC's give the RoC its share, like 80%, just like you expect the GC's to just give you 20% of the hydrocarbon revenues without putting anything in?

I think you boys got your measurement mixed up. 50 cents a tonne boy and that's a metric tonne. get it.

don't be stupid. you cant charge for something going back 41 years with penalties when you never sent a single bill to start with. dream on boy. in any case first you can only go back 7 years and no more,
secondly you can take out the penalty charges for non-payment as you never sent a single bill
thirdly you can take it out of rent for the use of the our power station.

30 per cent get it.
