Some facts to consider...

1. The Russian Air Force doesn't operate any MIGs in Syria.

2. Unconfirmed reports of a "fireball" isn't news but garbage.

3. Turkey still exists on the map so we know they haven't touched anything Russian.

Putin is one of the most hated persons on the planet! Are you surprised?

We now what he is all about! We've seen it all before in Ukraine, Australia, UK, Turkey and elsewhere.

No one polarizes the planet like Putin. We all hate him and for good reason. You couldn't trust him as far as you can piss on a cold day!

Bullshit ! You are full of it mate ! Who hates Putin ? His people love him, the West respects him, like it or not he is a very popular President adored by the vast majority of Russians. I talked to Russians only a few days ago, they all admire and support Putin. Where do you get the idea that he is a hated ? Grow up mate, you are making a bloody fool of your self.
Everyone on this forum knows where I stand. I support the west wholeheartedly but not unconditionally when our leaders behave like amateurs.

Let me tell you something else. The West should have had the balls to finish the hundreds or more groups of fucking fanatics in Syria and Iraq a long time ago instead of pissing about as they have thus far done. Why are they so hell bent on removing Assad, who will they put in his place ? I REPEAT FOR THE UPTEENTH TIME . The ME can not have a system that is utterly incompatible with thousands of years of a culture. Dictatorship for them works, always has done. Dream on those of you that think somehow one day the ME will wake up and demand democracy. Can you not see that their primary motivating force, ie Islam, DOES NOT WANT A DEMOCRATIC SYSTEM INVENTED AND ADHERED TO BY INFIDELS.

It was only a matter of time.

So it's ok when they violate our airspace but not ok when it gets done to them?

Oh well, the bully got bullied and doesn't like it.

Erm... it was a peace operation?
Yeah, sounds great. Russians are forgiven.

Every single country outside of Russia pretty much hate him. All his neighbours hate him. The only countries that love him are North Korea, Iran and Syria and that is telling you something right there.

Even the Chinese don't like him.

And bull dust. Speak to any Russian in Cyprus to see what they really think about Putin.

The West is not STUPID. We wanted an eventual end to this conflict. Waging war against 41 Rebel Groups was not the way to do that. In addition, some of the groups have fair enough claims.

Sorry but it has got nothing to do with "balls". It's about using your brains. Getting stuck in Syria is not something we would find palatable or smart.

there was no downing of any plane by turkey paphitis...the turks ain't suicidal...no attack from the Russians just turn off the gas energy valve...and see
1...watch turkey spiral out of control with a massive civil war and don't get me started on the economic side effect
2...see the Europeans come to the need of Russia el pronto because their investments in turkey are going down due to reason 1 above...

As a sign of his fury, Erdoğan hinted that Turkey could take steps to reduce the natural gas it receives from Russia. Yet, realistically there is little chance of Turkey being able to do this any time soon, as there are few alternative options currently available. Turkey consumes a huge amount of natural gas: 50 bcm per year, and this is set to rise significantly in the future. Russia is Turkey's biggest supplier, with Ankara purchasing some 30 bcm per year, and recent talks between Turkey and Russia over the proposed Turkish Stream pipeline would see Turkey buying even more. Turkey's other main suppliers are Azerbaijan and Iran, with a tiny amount also coming from Turkmenistan. Ankara plans to increase gas purchases from Turkmenistan, with Erdoğan traveling to the country on Monday.

you think the turks apart from them turning into glass, would dare to shoot anything/say anything?...

you out of all people should know better... no one can mix it with a super power...the nuclear option is on the table all the time...and no NATO SMETO will alter this...and let's be honest here, if push came to shove the west wouldn't lift a finger if turkey was glassed...or you think Germany/france/spain/italy, ect want a glass war in their own country...this is how it will work if turkey was glassed for the sake of the argument...after the turkey glassing, they will get together and sort out some deal for peace sake...toast the deal and with major headlines and no one will ever speak of turkey again...
