The following news report in Azeri supposedly shows the damage caused by one of the Russian missiles to a village in the Azeri-speaking region of Iran. There are pictures. Drat! It is Azeri in the Arabic script. If it had been in the Roman or Cyrillic scripts, I would have been able to make sense of it.

Little noticed regional press reports on Wednesday mentioned an “unidentified flying object” that had crashed near the town of Takab close to the border with Iraq. A report in Oyan News cited the governor of Takab describing the crash of a “drone” near the village of Qiz Qapan in the early morning hours.

Images posted by Oyan News on Thursday in several structures in the village which matched initial descriptions provided by witnesses.

Well, it looks like all the Cruise Missiles in the Caspian have gone all quiet and will be for some time because Putin just made a dork of himself with his "show of strength".

The way this Russian operation is going, just doesn't look at all very good. So far, we have cruise missiles that miss their target by hundreds of kms and we have Russian Pilots who can't navigate!

There are accounts of mysterious flying objects causing damage in Iran:

Local news reports -- many of which have since been taken down -- have mentioned sightings of unidentified flying objects, and eyewitnesses have reported seeing explosions and damaged buildings. The reports have emerged from the northwestern provinces of West Azerbaijan and Kurdistan, and in Gilan Province, which borders the Caspian Sea.

Merian News, a news outlet in Gilan, reported on October 7 that locals witnessed a "luminous object in the sky." They described an object like a "drone that was flying at low altitude."

News outlet Golan Saqaz reported at least one unidentified object over Kurdistan Province.

In the Iranian town of Astara, near the border with Azerbaijan, locals in the early hours of October 7 reported hearing a "crashing sound," according to the Iranian news website Entekhab.ir.

Meanwhile, residents of Takab, a city in West Azerbaijan Province, claimed an "unidentified flying object" had crashed near the village of Qizqapan. Evian News reported that the force of the blast damaged homes and shattered windows.

Takht News, meanwhile, reported on October 8 that the blast in Qizqapan had injured two people and had killed livestock.

It added that "security forces were in the area" and were examining debris from the flying object.

Takab's governor told IRNA news agency that the cause of the crash was "unclear."

The Russian operation doesn't look very good compared to what? what is the western led coalitions tally?

The coalition is a lot more selective when it comes to targets than Putin and Assad. We for instance will not bomb 29 terrorist fields if they are in an urban area or have a human shield attached or in the vicinity. Some things are sacred to us and deliberately killing civilians is not what we do. Time and time again our aircraft will return to base with all its munitions and bombs. Only about 30% of our sorties would engage a target. With Putin it's 100% which just goes to show that he is not as discriminatory.

Further to this, despite your claims that Russia has destroyed so many camps, DAESH have managed to advance on Alepo! Go figure hey!

As I said, the coalition is made up of free nations of the Western World. We are no war criminals like Assad and Putin who target innocent Syrian people!

I said deliberately!

That air strike was called in by the Afghan Military who gave the coordinates. In such a case, the A2G would have been launched up to 100 miles away. Most of our attacks in Syria and cluster bombs and Laser Guided line of sight!

Further to this, Obama has accepted responsibility and apologized which is a lot more than anyone can expect from Putin. Remember MH17?
