I don't know what the silly lady is on about. Everyone is friggin parking satellites all over the place.
The move raised questions about NATO’s strategy in Turkey, as it contradicted with the statements of NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg that the alliance was prepared to send ground forces to defend its member state.

I fear you’re gonna burst an appendix any day now…
The Pentagon revealed this week that U.S. warplanes in Syria changed their course to avoid a collision with Russian warplanes. The planes took off from Incirlik Air Base in Turkey. Due to Russia inching closer to Turkey, NATO’s chief said the organization has to be ready to protect the country.

There are two reasons why the West would want to pull them out...
1. They know the Russians can jam them and can embarrass the Americans killing all sales and destroying an industry they've invested heavily in.
2. In the unlikely event that they *do* work against a Russian jet (ie: the strayed jet is not fitted with the jamming technology) nobody from the West wants to be responsible for downing a Russian jet and risk WWIII over Turkey.
It's a lose-lose either way for the West.
