Let's hope that is all true. It will make Obama and his allies/puppets look impotent.

Russian air force already wondering into Turkish air space...

Don't be surprised to hear in the near future that the Russians demand/impose a 5-10km aerial buffer zone in Turkey and Erdogan fully complying!

NB: All Russia needs to impose something like this is extend the range of their jamming equipment by the required distance.
Russian jamming technology is second to none on the planet.

I'm sure Putin can fly his jets all over Cyprus if he wants. 8) What's Erdogan going to do if that happens? Will his NATO allies support any objections by Erdogan to Putin flying over the Turkish-occupied territories of Cyprus? An interesting strategy ...

Russia isn’t going anywhere Oracle… they’re here to stay. They’ve already invested too much for this to be a temporary operation. It’s not just about Assad… they've obviously made the decision to control the ME because they know it’s the key to controlling many other places around the world.

Once they’ve got the ME in their hand the Americans can never approach another ex-USSR state to cause Russia anymore trouble. Ukraine was a deciding factor.

The entire region is changing and this is the most influential event of the region in the last 50 years yet our government is still sound asleep!

As for Turkey, with a flick of a switch Russia can shut down all radio/satellite communications of Turkey if they wanted.

My betting is that relations between Turkey and Russia remain as cordial as they have over recent years.

That's what's really amazing. The way Putin's actions have been received. There's a lot of ruffled feathers around (turkey ones mostly), but in the end, everyone still wants a 'cordial' relationship with Putin.

Everybody wants to be Putin's friend. :D

That depends entirely on Turkey complying with Russia’s demands which will most likely be along the lines of….
ie:

1. Close Turkish borders and do not allow any further men/supplies to get through.
2. Do not interfere with Russian planes entering Turkey for 5-10km doing their job.

Turkey will survive if they do what Russia wants but if they foolishly allow themselves to be used by the US to jeopardize Putin’s attempts to secure the ME then I can well and truly tell you that Turkey will be fucked.

The other problem for Turkey is that they will need to play along with Russia for a very long time so the chances that they’ll screw up are very high as Turkey will be under constant Western pressure as they key territory from which Russia’s attempt to secure the ME can be compromised.

Erdogan must be under severe mental anguish right now...

It’s all actually about countries acting in their own self-interest, and Russia, if the words of Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov are anything to go by, sees maintaining good relations with Turkey as being important to it (remember where the Bosphorus and Dardanelles are, which link the Black Sea with the Mediterranean):

“Our bilateral relations with Turkey are quite comprehensive and based on strong grounds,” Dmitry Peskov told the media in Moscow, adding that he did not think that bilateral relations would get “badly affected” by the airstrikes.

He is, because he is on his way out, but that's another story.
