Hey moderators jump in and tell these people to stick to the specific issue of the judgment.
Anyway... I thought that the way some Turkish Newspapers like Zaman saw the judgment as being in their favour abit curious. It was like press conference statement by the iraqi"Joker".
O think that there is alot of material which the ECHR still has to process to do the Cyprus Problem justice. Getting the Cyprus problem analysed in this way is the only realistic step forward for a solution for GCs that I can see. A negotiated solution which will be fair and viable cannot be achieved when we have the Duress of the 40,000+ Turkish Troops occupying Cyprus.
Negotiations and mediation can really only be successful when there is a more or less level playing field. But the playing field in Cyprus is going through the long and painful process of being demined in the ECHR.
