Come on then, Bible basher, explain to me the meaning of the following:

“You shall not bear false witness against your neighbour.”
Exodus 20:16

and why it is not despicable to make up blatant lies with a view to defaming others, because in my secular system of morality this is a vile act.

Hey Tim, do you know what stroumba means?

Bend over!

And when you change that to "stroumbou" it's a female that's always bending over!

And as for somebody who appears to be British and comes on here and makes blatant propaganda for Daesh, and then accuses others of being turncoats .. well, the expression 'Pot calling the kettle black comes to mind'. Does the Bible have anything to say about hypocrisy, I wonder, or shall I find that out for myself and post it?

You actually, and I got the kind of reply I was anticipating, so here is a little reading to be getting on with:

http://www.openbible.info/topics/hypocrisy

PS - I also find it rather hypocritical for somebody who makes light of the one of the ten commandments being broken to claim to be a devout Christian.

Titus 1:16

"They profess to know God, but they deny him by their works. They are detestable, disobedient, unfit for any good work."

You need to start quoting to make it easier for readers to know who you’re talking to.

When did I say I’m a “devout Christian”? :?

I just strongly believe in the existence of God and rubbished your belief of the opposite many times! :D

Just ignore him!

The poor chap is indoctrinated to believe in mythology. In the end, we could feel sorry for him but he is entitled to believe in whatever he likes. :D

You are not a Christian? Fine. In my system of morality, making light of somebody who tells blatant lies about another so as to defame them makes you almost as bad as that person, irrespective of whether this contravenes commandment nine of the ten commandments Christians believe that God imposed on them or not.

According to Get Real:

"We're not Greeks... we’re the proud native Christian Cypriots who refuse to accept your bullshit 400 years and counting."

cyprus42683-10.html?hilit=Christian#p799910

From my understanding of English, the pronoun "we" subsumes "I" within its meaning, so somebody who says that "We are Christian" can be construed to also be saying "I am Christian." True or false?
