On Tuesday, Mr. Kirby repeated the criticism of Russia’s role.

“Russia is not a member of the coalition against ISIL, and what we’ve said is that their continued support to the Assad regime has actually fostered the growth of ISIL inside Syria and made the situation worse,” he said, using an acronym for the Islamic State. “If they want to be helpful against ISIL, the way to do it is to stop arming and assisting and supporting Bashar al-Assad.”

I mean, you have to be an absolute idiot to come to this conclusion, that supporting Assad fosters the growth of Isil. Only an idiot would believe that.

ISIL is an enemy of Syria, the Syrian people and Assad. Who Mr Kirby is indirectly supporting here is ISIL. He is trying to hide the truth. Being that the US and Turkey have had an active role in Syria, which has also been fostering the rise and growth of ISIL.

Assad is the reason why ISIL have expanded and find it easy to recruit people.

The news story is another bogus piece of propaganda. For a start, Russia doesn't need to use Greek Airspace!

I know, but do the American's know that?

Greece denied their request but Bulgaria complied with shutting down their air space to Russian flights.

I find that very hard to believe. Sorry but there are many aspects which do not make any sense.

And Greece would be up shit creek if it did say no because the USA will just obstruct the next armament orders to Greece.

Plus, Greece might have contravened some NATO Article and there would be some ramifications there as well.

Not to mention the fact that Greece might be complicit in the mass murder of thousands of Syrians who oppose Assad.

OK great, but it hasnt been reported by any other media so it looks like stupid propaganda to me.

Plus Greece wouldn't be so stupid to say no to a coalition and NATO ally.

Yeah, Obama is a clown and this is what happens when you don't get a security council resolution.

Russia may set up camp around the Bosphorus straits next to control and cut off any military transit and supply routes from the west to Syria. Also, to not remain contained or have a harder time getting to Syria..

Perhaps this is why the US wants Greece and Bulgaria to close their air space, while the Turks close theirs and any transit through the black sea.

I suspect, Turkey will end up getting stamped on like a cockroach.
