So why were the Israeli forces so apparently totally unprepared? Is there more to this than meets the eye given that Netanyahu has declared he is going to wipe Gaza off the face of the Earth ..... as he has wanted to do for decades? And now HAMAS has given him a reason to do so!

Egypt Claims It Warned Israel Of Upcoming

Egypt warned Israel of a pending Hamas attack ten days before terrorists breached the border and took control of military bases, and communities, killing more than 700 and taking 150 captive including women and children.

Ahhhhh! A conspiracy then?

Coming from Herman, in his Hamburg flat, plus that never wrong sage (another one!) Mr Ritter, untarnished by his years of Forces robotic programming, then it must be true. :D

The fascist like war because they can silence opposition to their policy. So he wants to expect out Gaza. Nooooo that's not possible. He is a nice man so say our Swine friends and I believe them.

Its fu ny hiw where ever the Swine invaded they have caused trouble which has lasted to this day.

So Hamas is to blame. We're the Greeks to blame when the nazis invaded Greece. We're the French yo blame when they were invaded by the Nazis.

I don’t think anybody can be “accursed” of calling Netanyahu a nice man. Not sure what “expect out Gaza” means. English problem? :?

You’re an odd ball Lordo. I know, that’s stating the bleedin’ obvious in here. :D

This week Hamas murdered 260 youngsters at a pop concert. Mowed them down in cold blood. A short video of the event was posted. Also the picture of a 23 year old girl killed whose naked body was subsequently paraded through the streets of Gaza. Even long-term supporters of the Palestinians would be sickened by those atrocities I suspect.

Your response was along the lines of their deserving it as those in Gaza “can’t get medication”.It never seemed to occur to you that Hamas have managed to smuggle huge amounts of weapons into Gaza, but they can’t get drugs for the benefit of their people? :? Really?

Then, you post an old video - which I’m sure you’ve used a couple of times in the past few years - showing a large group of IDF doing little more harm to a kid (at a riot! Hamas seem to encourage the kids in that) than pinch his sweeties. And you seem to be suggesting it has some sort of equivalence to this weeks events. Do you have even a glimmer, of why some people think you’ve got mental issues?

As usual from you nothing constructive to add .............You are a pompous and self opinionated idiot.

This shows what was Palestinian lands up to 1947 and what was the UN agreed areas to be designated as Israel in 1947 ...... and then how much Palestinian land the Israeli’s had stolen up to 2010. Maybe that is why a very large part of ‘Israel’ is known as The Occupied Territories, because it does not belong to them?

Fighters defending Palestinian lands are called terrorists by the Western Powers ...... but Israeli troops ‘defending their stolen gains’ are praised as the victims defending ‘their lands’ ...... lands they stole in the first place from 1948 onward. :x

BTW: I know you are as deaf as a post but even you cannot have missed the 'heavies' taking off from RAF Akrotiri in the last few days ...... two went out this morning ? I have not seen them just heard them but a Cypriot told me they were USAF. I wonder where they are going?

Ohh dear, down we go.

I rather think though that's a hat which belongs more on your head. "What are those awful Service wives doing in here? Don't they have a shop of their own? " "Cyprus is becoming a Police State!!" Not forgetting your unquestionable expertise in every subject you get involved in. Regardless of anybody else's actual, sometimes life-long, experience. Self opinionated? Moi? Really?

As far as idiocy goes, I seem to hold my own making you look one. Although, in that respect you're usually very helpful of course.

You're "Mr Conspiracy Theory Man" and - right on cue, todays serving.

Do you have a map of what Ukraine looked like up to 2014, and one showing The Occupied Territories? You don't have a problem with that though, do you? Entirely different.

Anyway, what’s your view on this week's events? Which seems to be more the subject under "discussion" at the moment, rather than a history lesson.

Careful, or you will have somebody mailing the DT about copyright infringement. Although, I suspect their contacting Admin on this forum would be a neat trick.
