Not wishing to be boringly repetitive but, given Socialism has never worked anywhere, why do you think it will be different this time...? :?

Aside from private businesses, aren’t most other things socialized or subsidized, even in the most capitalist countries? :roll:

Indeed some things are... Take the UK as an example...

NHS = shit.
Roads = shit.
Border Control = shit.
Justice system = shit.
HS2 = shit.
Devolution = shit.
Energy provision = shit.

I could go on.... But you get the picture, everything the government gets its hands on turns to shit and costs fortunes... And yet people want even more government involvement in our everyday lives? :shock:

So why doesn’t countries do away with all of the above you have mentioned, including the military, police force, fire departments, schools, civil servants and almost any other government run institutions where tax money is used to pay for them. In other words, just tax people very little for few essentials to make the government function and let people keep the monies they have earned and go through the private sector to get things done and pay out of pocket instead of through their taxes? The problem is, can it work if almost everything being privatized, given there are a major income differential between workers which will create major societal problems for everyone and crime going through the roof between the haves and the have nots. What’s your pick?

As a conservative (small 'C') I believe in small government doing just the basics... Defence, control of borders, law and order, etc.

Most other things (including Education) would be much better under private control - Health certainly would...

Governments waste so much of our money on everything and then spaff billions away on quangos, lobby groups and 'charities' that do nothing for the average taxpayer.

Plus Governments are totally unaccountable, nobody will lose their job or gold-plated pension over the HS2 debacle... And our choice as voters? Vote for the other lot? There isn't a fag paper between any of them...

The UK is taxing at the highest rate since the war yet everything is still shit and will probably get worse. The whole thing needs rethinking but yet more government certainly isn't the solution...

Bullshit as per usual. Water was privatised, so in the decades it has been private, no new investment but TW has racked up 14 billion debt mainly paying shareholders billions and we have shit coming out taps. That is so ironic aintit?

They were talking about handing it back to the government but they have been offered to double the price so they are staying on for a while more to run the debt to 100 billion and then we will be forced to nationalise it or no water.

What about the pandemic the whole country was nationalised. Why not leave it to the capitalists to sort out after all they are good at shit right?

Is there no end to what this cunt will do to control the narrative. Fuck him and fuck all his supporters here, there and everywhere.

https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/world/netanyahu-accused-of-planting-allies-in-meeting-with-hostage-families/ar-AA1ijjHn?ocid=entnewsntp&cvid=3520f297742e419b8a3c6298c3892040&ei=11

On another note, if a fanatic Muslim is outraged by what is going on in Gaza and attacks and kills people in Europe what has that got to do with Hamas.

Everybody ignores the real terrorists here. More than 1000 children have been killed in the last week or so. If there is a terroir group in the region it is the fuckin Israeli government.

You stupid cunt, what would have happened if they did not. Actually perhaps they should not have done it, then the workers revolution would have taken place and all the Swine would have got a fair trial.

They can't claim they did not realise. If they want war with Iran they can have it.

Iran has stepped deeper into the war between Israel and Hamas, warning of “pre-emptive action” within hours over attacks on Gaza.

We will soon find out what their intentions were all along.

and how is the government supposed to run those things without taxing people?

Socialism means more taxes and creating an environment and conditions where people can become too lazy to work.

If they hadn't shut down the country and kept everybody at home there would have been no need to pay them would there...? :?

But no, Bordo wants more government! :shock:

What an utter mong, simultaneously arguing two opposing views! :?

A clear case of Cognitive Dissonance...

What is the simplest way to define cognitive dissonance? Cognitive dissonance is a mental conflict that occurs when your beliefs don't line up with your actions. It's an uncomfortable state of mind when someone has contradictory values, attitudes, or perspectives about the same thing.

Sums you up Bordo! :lol: :lol: :lol:

So it seems Netanyahu is worried about the families who have hostages as to what they may say to the media, so when they have meetings he plants his own people into the meeting to tell the rest how important it is to think what is best for Israel and not their relatives.
