Israel’s Western allies have condemned remarks by the country’s far-right finance minister, who suggested that causing the starvation of Gaza’s population of more than two million Palestinians “might be just and moral” until hostages captured in Hamas’s attack on southern Israel are returned home.

But the west continues to send arms to Israel and ships to defend her too.

Just like Taliban The Yanks created Israel and now they have lost control because he will not listen to them unless they cut the arms they supply and they are unable to stop the arms sales. At calls to Israel is just for the world to make it look like they are trying. Like fuck they are.

Unfortunately just like in Vietnam till the Yanks are driven out of the middle east there will be no peace.

There will be no ceasefire if Nuttenyahu insist on starting war as soon as the prisoners' are exchanged till "Hamas is Destroyed" what ever that means. I know it can't be destroyed because it is an idea. They kill one leader another takes his place. They kill one fighter 2 more take his place. This is a war America cannot win.

Are locals aware of these US planes landing at Akrotiri? I have written to the UK Press and my MP but have had no response. If we are facilitating the supply of weapons to the Israeli murderers we are as guilty of genocide as they are.

The establishment of these bases in Cyprus was for no other purpose other than to project western power in to the middle east.

I am under no illusion, no matter what is said to the contrary, that the Americans and the British are probably using Akrotiri as a staging posts to support Israel with military supplies.

With that said, I do not believe that Cyprus is guilty of committing or aiding and abetting a genocide in Gaza. The Cypriot government can protest the existence of these bases and what they are being used for but in reality, Cyprus does not have the power to do anything else.

In fact, there is not a lot Cyprus can do about it and if the bases were not there or being used for this purposes, military supplies would get to Israel another way.

Sooner or later Israel and America will be driven from the Middle East. Especially if Hamas. Hezbollah ideology spreads to the Arab countries under the control of America. Countries like Jordan, Saudis, Egypt and the rest of the Arab states in the area not forgetting Syria and Iraq. The sooner the Yanks are driven out of Turkey the better too.

RoC has no control what happens in the British bases but is RoC not got anything to worry about?

I seem to remember they had military joint exercises and allowed Israel Air Force access to the airports in Cyprus. Not forgetting the Gas agreement they signed with Israel.

It seems the mainstream media has the attitude that criticizing Israeli sate is anti-Semitic.

Dominic Cavendish, The Telegraph’s chief theatre critic who was at Sunday night’s show, reported that the audience “erupted into vocal animosity at an Israeli couple who had briefly heckled Hunter”.
Hunter reportedly made a “crude” gag in which he compared the state of Israel to an abusive partner. He referenced a documentary containing a scene about an abusive wife who accused her husband of abuse, which made him think: “My God, it’s like being married to Israel.”
The journalist said there was laughter in response to the joke, but a couple in the front row – who said they were from Israel – shouted “not funny”.
This reportedly sparked an outburst from several audience members who shouted “you’re not welcome” and “genocidal maniac” at the couple and booed them. The pair reportedly left the venue, the Assembly George Square Studios, in Edinburgh.
Hunter allegedly told the couple: “You can say it’s not funny to you, but if you say it to a room full of people who laughed.”
