It is ironic because America in effect was the first BBF. "Americans" unlike Americans, question the value of such notions of Freedom for all without further distinction or discrimination, and Liberty, having as Persons the same respect and trust for each other. 'Fairness' is the American way.
"They", "American" or not, are all the same because their interests are not 'ours'. Let's be clear.
...you may demean Americans Lordo, you do so often, i do not. I'd say "Turks" like "Russians" and "Jews" to name a few, are no different hiding behind the mass they have a power over, affectively usurping the notion of a Human condition 'we' the people of the world defend as individuals, with a mission and dogma defining us as divided: "They" seize control.
Americans, i suggest are under the same threat as you or me (as Cypriots). There were a few Patriots on Jan 6 who saved us all from "Them" succeeding. And every American will have to vote in this election if America is to survive the new "America" Trump wants to lead. You should be more aware of what you are (actually) saying lest your hatefulness only encourage more Hatefulness. I am guessing that i dislike "Americans" as much as you do, but i cannot agree with you because i fear your fear is based on Ignorance. (Pick a Jew, any Jew, and Hate them; what is that?) (Not all Jews are "Jews", like in Cyprus and in Palestine they are split.) (If you are against "Zionists" it's the Jews who need your help, the most.) Mindless knee jerk reactions, sound bites, simplistic generalisations, hyperbole, void of the complexity of the issue are not helpful in my mind, and too easy to repeat; i don't like such conversation.
(pardon me, it's not your last post that got me writing; i am suggesting you can be more careful, you can do better.)
...i will agree with you, in that America must heal herself, the wounds she suffers in the Middle East (and elsewhere); it is not from withdrawal but from better intentions, recovery.
